Fantastic, but needs some maintenance

Nice house in nice location. Very spacious. Kitchen well equipped. The balcony area was fantastic for a morning brew. The rooms were great and had all the wardrobe space etc needed.

We were greeted with a smell of dampness when we opened the property. The bathrooms all smell really badly of dampness. We had to keep windows open constantly to remove the smell. Parts of the house were tired. The kitchen knives were extremely blunt. The carpet on the stairs was dirty, and the scatter cushions were also dirty in some rooms with what looked like bodily fluids. There was a large clump of dark hair on one of the beds upon arrival, and a snail on the ceiling in another. We were each given only one towel for the weel and expected not to wash them. Two towels each were required really. One of the bathrooms had a dodgy glass door that would not close, so flooded the floor constantly unless you lifted it as closing it. The balcony area was dirty and needed a good clean. We paid top money for this property and expected better really. The house just needed that extra effort putting in by the hosts to make it perfect.

Not very clean, needs a deep clean and a freshen up. Birds mess still on ceiling by one of the velux windows ( read this in a previous review) for the amount you pay and the time you have to clean it should be spotless. Garden not secure as stated

Tired Tara

Comfy beds, great location, spacious house

It's was dirty , all surfaces dusty, carpets Thread bare in places and dirty . Drains in shower blocked with sand and hair causing over flowing water . Flooring tiles no grout in has sharp edges .All bathrooms not cleaned properly soap scum and mould in tiles, shower door comes off rails when opening .Main bathroom shower head unless leaking and hot tap unscrews when trying to use . Uneven flooring outside property poorly lit at night. Generally everything looks tired and in need of updating . An inch of dust under beds. Seagull poop inside on wall. Washer full of black scum and dryer clogged with fluff . Black scum in fridge drawers and on water dispenser . Clearly not covid safe .

Loved St Ives; loved the location a shame the place wasn't as good as the photo's.

The location was perfect.

We couldn't get into the property until 5pm because of a deep clean. The place was not very clean. Under the bed had not been cleaned for months. The table in the kitchen was sticky; and the cooker wasn't very clean. It was a shame really. The whole place needs some refreshing; a lick of paint would be a good idea. The cushion on the sofa were dusty and dirty.

Beautiful Area, Great Relaxing Time spent with Friends

Beautiful open plan kitchen/living area - lots of kitchen utensils, great balcony & nice garden area... very peaceful and lovely views. Beds comfy, showers good

the driveway is very tight however you do get more used to it the more you use it. However, we were in large vehicles. I would suggest you drive in the house drive bit and then reverse out.
