The property was very clean and has a small outside space which was perfect for the dogs.
The bed was held together by metal bolts and made a horrendous noise, it was on a slant and the mattress and pillows were very uncomfortable and the “fitted”
sheet didn’t fit. There were no wine glasses, lots of the crockery and cutlery were mismatched and the bedroom curtains were paper thin so we were awake at 4 with the dawn. The wardrobe was tiny and wobbled as if i’d would fall over every time something was put in or taken out. The so called “bedside” socket was behind the bed so we had to crawl on hands and knees under the bed to use it… i could go on…

Comfortable sofa & (soft) bed. Good shower. Nicely decorated throughout. Decent location as long as you don’t mind a walk uphill!
There were a few small niggles. The flush on the toilet was temperamental, the Smart TV could do with an upgrade, and a new set of mugs would make all the difference.

Good location
We arrived when it was dark so it wasn't easy to find. It might be a good idea to put a sign on the wall to indicate that this is the drop off place for Spindrift.

St. Ives is such a beautiful place and, we visit frequently. The property is located in the upper part of the town with nice views to Porthmeor beach.
The bed was comfortable.
The standard of cleaning was appalling in the kitchen and lounge area, warranting escalation to Luxury Coastal. Whilst there was an offer to have the cleaner come back out, I opted to clean myself so we could use the facilities and feel more confident doing so.
At the height of the covid restrictions properties, amended their check in times to supposedly allow for extra cleaning, which havent appeared to have reverted since the pandemic has settled.
There was no WiFi, by the time any assistance with this could be given, it was pointless.
This property is not cheap to let, and certainly didn't have a luxury feel or facilities. This wouldn't be suitable for anyone with restriction to mobility as the stairs are narrow and the wall partially exposed. In summer parking is premium in St Ives and not always possible.
