Casa Studio

Very quiet location. Looks small from outside but actually quite spacious inside. Room is bright and airy.

Bathroom sink was very small and placement of shelves were not very practical.

Spacious, comfortable and convenient for the Leach Pottery. The studio was clean but some of the furnishings were starting to get a bit shabby. Everything was fully functional.

The owner's large dog was loose on my arrival and aggressively growled at me, preventing me from approaching the property. After an 11.5 hour journey and the long steep walk up the hill from the station, this was not the welcome I expected. It was unacceptable to have a large dog on the loose without the owner present, particularly when you're expecting guests. The front of the property opens to the road (no fencing or gate) and the dog was also antagonising other dogs / owners walking by. The dog was regularly loose unattended outside, wandering around the studio throughout my stay and I had to time my exits from the property when it wasn't there and made me anxious when returning to the property.

Great place to stay to see St Ives . Casa studio was clean and bed was comfortable, good shower and to have the parking on site was such a great bonus. Easy walk into town and plenty of taxis if you don’t want to walk the hill home. Yenta was great as we arrived early, I phoned her and she kindly said the place was all ready and we could go in. Making the most of our day, thanks.

Could have done with a sharp knife and a microwave bowl too make scrambled egg or heat milk etc.

Was disappointed to find that the studio apartment was actually in the middle of a housing estate! The road leading to it was appalling lots off huge potholes. It was clean but very basic.
