Location was great. 5 minute walk to harbour. Clean & cosy. Parking was a great added bonus.
No normal size drinking glasses. Luckily I took a water bottle.

They should not advertise as having a parking space unless you have a C1 or an old school mini it won’t fit on. I was very lucky to find a carpark space up the road for £10.50. It was one of the reasons I booked this as it’s advertised as a carpark space. Just take that off

parking was a bonus ground floor a bonus as my wife can not do stairs private entrance a bonus so we could take our dog out for a walk at night good shower wifi and tv light warm and very clean host was very welcoming and helpfull fully equiped with everything we would have needed including tea coffee milk suger etc
a microwave would have been usefull but realise it would have been very difficult to locate one

Loved the single room living. The apartment is amazing. Very comfortable and well appointed. Easy to access St Ives via the 72 ‘gym’ steps! Can walk to anywhere in St Ives from here so no need to use the car.
Parking space is minute (think Smart car or motorbike) - far too small for the vast majority of modern cars. Parked at Trenwith car park (week ticket) and walked down to the property.
Giants beware- the ceiling is low!

Great use of space, modern, clean and all you need. There is a fridge, oven, sink and hob. Plenty of tea/coffee and some milk sachets in the fridge which was nice for arrival. Host is in contact when you need and really accommodating. Bathroom is nice and it is a few steps up from the town centre. Great view and a really nice stay. Parking space is as advertised - big enough for a golf or similar, however the car park at the top of the road is £6.40 for 24 hours - so a bargain really considering location. A great stay.

It was close to the harbour
If you love staying in a musty damp cave, with a low ceiling, then this place is for you.
Don’t be fooled by the photo of the apartment block. Your “Ground Floor Apartment” is the basement shoe box under the front stairs.
If you like to keep the one and only small window open to let some fresh air in then you will have to decide between road noise and fresh air, or a damp musty smell.
Response to Host. We did not leave the place "so dirty an unkept". Yes the entrance might have been dirty as you enter straight from the street with wet shoes etc. There was no mention that we had to make the bed before we left. Dishes were washed and put away etc. A dehumidifier would be a great solution to the dampness in this apartment. However, we did not know that there was one in the apartment, nor what one looks like, therefore it is unfair to accuse us of turning it off. Perhaps this information should have been included in the information booklet.
Yes we turned the heating off, because it was so hot and stuffy inside we had to sleep with no covers. So why would I want to turn the heater on to make it even hotter. Hence why we asked for the fan which was supposed to be in the apartment. Yes we kept the blinds closed as people could look straight in as they walked by. It's not my fault the apartment only had one window.
I don't normally give bad reviews but in the 100's and 100's of places I've stayed in around the world I felt I should let future guests know the truth. If the host felt I gave an unfair review then maybe they should be more upfront about the description of the apartment. Starting with its a basement (not a ground floor unit) It has minimum ventilation (one small exhaust fan in the shower) and one small window. A photo showing where the apartment is under the stairs and not a misleading photo of this lovely two story apartment.

This property is perfect for a couple who just want to spend most of the time outdoors exploring Cornwall. The property is good for a place to sleep at night, freshen up, all in a clean environment. The hosts are a text/phone call away and will sort any issues out. The property is small but clean, it’s a studio apartment and its purpose is limited. Location is exceptional, and can get anywhere in Cornwall with 30/40 drive.
Nothing to say, we just used it to sleep.
