We booked our 3-night non-refundable reservation through Expedia and the listing said that parking was included. When we received our welcome email from the property manager we learned that the free parking was only for stays of a week or longer. The parking lot is a 10-minute walk uphill from the flat, costs £11/day. The flat is cute although small, but very quiet with a comfortable bed and well equipped galley kitchen. The shower is a ridiculous contraption with lights and sound and various spray nozzles but you will soak the floor trying to figure out how to work it, and it is so ridiculously small it’s comical. If you’re over 6’/180 cm or of a larger girth, you won’t fit in it. We enjoyed our stay in spite of these inconveniences but mostly because we really loved the town.

A fantastic stay in the heart of St Ives
We loved our time at 5 Lyonesse Apartments! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, shops, train station and cultural high points like Tate Gallery St. Ives. The apartment was clean, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was super comfy and the apartment was lovely. A great base for exploring the town and coastline. The owner was also very accommodating and helpful whose help we appreciated greatly. Highly recommended!
