Lovely location great for families and those wanting to explore by foot

Lovely property, lots of space and convenient location. Nice and big and loved the touch of the Christmas tree as well were staying for the Christmas period.

Garden wasn’t secure and not good for small dogs as they aren’t able to get up onto the grass by themselves. There was dog hair on the furniture and under the sofa, there are clear signs requesting dogs do not go on the furniture or beds, but the previous occupants obviously let their dog on the furniture as my daughters clothes were covered in hair within minutes of arrival.

A wonder place to stay in a beautiful part of the country.

A wonderful place with great views from the top balcony. Everything and more was provided.

Nothing. Just a point for info, the left socket nr the toaster is not working and when of the outside chairs is broken but still sitable.

Perfect house for easy access to Carbis Bay.

Location and parking was fantastic. Spacious layout and open play living downstairs. Very nice furniture and kitchen area is stunning. Showers and bathrooms are also very modern and clean.

Not great for young kids as no bath. Outside area could have been a bit neater/cleaner and bins hadn’t been collected. As others had mentioned it would have been nice if a few basics like tea/coffee/salt/pepper but wasn’t an issue as we had bought our own after reading other reviews.

the location was amazing. the property it’s self was lovely, well kept and very clean

the washer machine wasn’t working. the owner wasn’t aware of this and was in contact to help resolve it. someone took a look the following day but unfortunately couldn’t fix it. only bad thing but it wasn’t the end of the world for us

Excellent family holiday

Driftwood was a real haven for us. Despite the weather (rain) it offered us the comfort and space we needed. It was spotlessly clean and had all facilities required for a relaxed stay. The location was excellent allowing access to Carbis bay and the train to St Ives. Of course the walks are steep but that's true for the area.

Large, comfortable beach house near St Ives

The house is modern, comfortable and spacious and was well equipped. The house is in a convenient location and an easy drive to nearby St Ives.

The only let down was that it was occasionally quite noisy. The master bedroom is at the front of the house overlooking a quiet lane. Despite there being limited traffic and passers by, you could hear everything happening outdoors. I suspect the bedroom at the back of the house would have been much quieter.

Fantastic place to stay, great location and the house itself is beautiful! Would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again!

To access the property is a tight little road with a fair few potholes, we had no issues ourselves with this however can see other people may struggle! However this should not put you off the property as it is truly amazing

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Der Blick aus dem Haus war sehr schön. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Es fehlte ein Föhn in jedem Bad. Es könnte einen Hinweis geben, welche Kapseln/ Pads ( Tassimo) man für die Kaffeemaschine braucht. Ein Startpaket hierfür wäre schön. Mehr Stühle und passende Auflagen sind eine gute Idee 👍🏻
