This is in the most amazing location, on a river with the sound of a waterfall that drifts right into your windows. There is a lovely wooded path that leads to a small shopping area and, on a sunday there was a fabulous farmers' market. It was not a long walk to the Royal Mile from the apt., but we appreciated the less touristy areas, particularly Stockbridge. The apartment is older and the floors creak, but it is charming and we would definitely return.
We had a few problems. The internet went out because of a superstorm, but the management came and rectified the situation very promptly. The electric tea kettle leaked, but we simply microwaved our tea. Although we didn't use much, the kitchen was well stocked.

Location was great, close to everything in the city and bus stops up the hill. Elevator was a bonus I wasn't expecting! Comfortable seating, beds...great stay!
Remote batteries were getting weak...that's the only thing I can come up with. The hill up to town was definitely a hike but it's short and coming home is the easy downhill.

Central Edinburgh location. Lots of good places to explore and eat and drink close by. Spacious rooms. Helpful staff before stay. WiFi. Good instructions to find keys.
Squeaky floorboards, hard to get round double bed to other side. The wardrobe wasn’t in useable condition. Out of date teabags and coffee in kitchen. Had to use de-humidifier otherwise could smell damp. Quite dated.
