This beautiful, spacious flat is in an outstanding location, with plenty of room for a family and floor-to-ceiling living room windows that fill the space with natural light. Despite its central setting, it is remarkably quiet, with shutters that provide excellent darkness for sleeping. The comfortable beds, thoughtful décor, well-equipped kitchen, easy check-in, and flexible host all enhanced our stay. We especially enjoyed the views over the private garden and historic Colonies, while Stockbridge’s shops, cafés, restaurants, and public transport were all just a short walk away. The main drawback is that the property feels overdue for a refresh. While the apartment was clean, much of the furniture shows significant wear. The sofa cushions are stained and misshapen, the armchair is damaged, and several pieces feel tired for a property of this quality and price. The yellow kitchen chair also appeared noticeably dirty. There are also some maintenance issues. The plumbing is functional but dated, with separate hot and cold taps in the main bathroom, a kitchen faucet that splashes excessively, and visible water damage around the bathroom fixtures. The wood surrounding the sink and bathtub shows signs of prolonged moisture exposure and deterioration. We were also surprised that no basic toiletries were provided. With updated furnishings and attention to maintenance, it could fully match the high standard it otherwise promises.

Responsive, prompt, helpful - great management of this property, a pleasure! The neighborhood is one of my favorites and has a fabulous farmers market on Sunday. It and was extremely quiet - except for a sweet late-night encounter with a fox on the street below my window (they have an eerie cry that almost sounds human).

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment, especially thanks to its excellent location and the very quiet surroundings. It is a lovely place in a great area and offers a very good base for exploring the city.During our stay, we noticed a few aspects that could benefit from some additional attention, particularly in terms of cleaning and general upkeep. While these were mostly minor points individually, their overall effect meant that the condition of the apartment did not entirely match the impression from the listing, especially at this price level. That said, communication with the management company was very professional throughout, and our feedback was taken seriously and addressed in a fair and constructive way, which we appreciated.Overall, this is a well-located and very pleasant apartment with a lot of potential. With a bit more attention to detail, it could easily offer an excellent experience throughout.
