Spacious clean property with pool and great view from the balcony.
Tea, coffee, salt and pepper in the cupboard was a nice touch.
Not enough hot water for 4 people to have a shower after the beach.
Only 7 sun loungers at the pool. Which for the first week, 4 out of 7 were broken, before they were replaced.

Absolutely amazing property! The location is ideal. Close enough to town but far enough out to escape the crowds. Has everything you need - kitchen is well stocked, iron and board to use, drying rack, washing machine. Beds were comfy too. Pool is fabulous and gets plenty of sun and shade.
AC works really well and the view is just spectacular!
There is no lift - this wasn’t a huge issue for us but we didn’t know beforehand and would be difficult if you had lots of big bags.
The shower in the penthouse apartment does not have a slider/rail. You have to hold the shower head whilst you are showering which is a bit of a pain.

The view is excellent!!!! This top floor treasure delivered in spades! The view from the second you walk in the door makes the 4 story hike worth it! I found out while there that the place is located in one of the wealthiest areas of Split. It’s set upon Marjan hill and is so peaceful and serene. It’s a little dicey driving up the street with rental car as it’s a very sharp left hand turn in and it’s narrow with stone walls on both sides at the entrance - but you get used to it lol. We had a garage spot for the car included which was great. I had to call for info on how to access it but they answered immediately and assisted. The pool was lovely and cold (very refreshing). We mostly walked to town and took Ubers back at night (only bc we were tired by then). The walk to Old Town is about 25 min - an easy walk on roads. Uber ride was about 7 min and 7 euro - easy peasy! Apparently the beach near the place is nice and close but we never had the time to check it out - so much to see and do in this area! Oh and there are 2 AC units that worked well which is good - the main living area gets toasty with all the skylights and windows but that’s what makes this place so great - did I mention the sea view? lol
The decor of one bedroom was a kids room with 2 twins. A bit odd but was totally fine for our needs. All the beds were a bit hard but not terrible. The only real bummer was that there is no shower spray holder so it’s awkward to shower and wash hair with basically one hand and the hot water didn’t last very long so 3 people showering back to back was not ideal.

Pool was nice and AC worked well
The jacuzzi was broken, the street had no lights and some of the sun shaders were broken when we arrived. The garbage cans outside were very small and we had to use our own large garbage bags because the cans were always full from other guests. The bolt lock on the front door was broken off when we arrived.
