Nice building, clean rooms and great breakfast

Rooms are a bit basic, but has all you need. Comfortable shower. Breakfast was excellent. Sweet staff and tasty.

We travelled as a family so it was no problem for us, but the tinted glass bathroom could be a bit odd when travelling with colleagues or friends

Pretty good experience, not my personal preferance

Room was large and spacious, as well as the shower, with decent view. Breakfast was good and staff was very friendly and helpful.

The bed was very small, and the comforter was also very small and did not cover me fully. The blinds did not keep all the light out in the morning. The walls are very thin and you could hear out into the hall, as well as outside. Quiet noisy.

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone

The hotel looked really nice from the inside and outside and all the facilities were fine. The staff was nice and the location is great too: it's not too far away from the motorway, however, it's still nice and peaceful. The dinner was not only very tasty, it was also very affordable.

If there is one thing that could be improved a little: although the breakfast is quite nice, it would be nice if you could easily order more or different sandwiches? Besides that it's a very nice place to stay in the south of Germany.

This is a great, modern hotel with lots of charm and I would definitely go back. But....

I would make sure not to get a room on the 5th floor under the roof, and above the terrace where restaurant guests were talking loudly until late, and where you had to open the windows to allow at least some air into the hot, not airconditioned room. I'd recommend to absolutely avoid these rooms.

Modern rooms in old building in great location

Nicely restored old building. Modern, spacious and clean rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely outdoor area in front of building to have a drink and meal at the end of the day.

Charming design and atmosphere of the hotel - rooms are modern and functional.

More a personal preference: Table-served breakfast is nice, refilled as much as requested - albeit not exceptional in choice.

It is a great place to stay for a night or two

The building is beautiful and recently refurbished The check in process was really smooth There was no extra charges for the dog which is really rare, thank you! Breakfast was tasty, small menu but all you need and no waste with buffet! Everything was very clean, nothing to say at all!

the doors slam, need to ensure you hold it when closing. That means that when your neighbor slam their door you can hear it and the insulation is not optimal so if you go to bed early or are a light sleeper that might annoy you our room was on the ground floor with the big window you lack some privacy but that is a detail The room is quite basic compared to how beautiful the outdoor of the building is but again it is a detail

Design and functionality was excellent. breakfast efficient and yummy.

no cold place to store food or drinks (no fridge) - and this makes travelling in summer difficult. Our food we had with us just went bad, wine was warm. Ice buckets to cool drinks as is standard in most quality hotels was unheard of - and had to be explained to staff unfamiliar with wanting to cool our wine in our room… (remember no fridge)

Enjoyable experience which was one of the highlights of our trip.

Beautiful room, bright clean and comfy. Bathroom was a pleasure to use .. great shower. Breakfast was truly delicious, served to us due to Covid. Not having a buffet was so relaxing and staff were excellent. Good free parking. Great location Our experience was such a pleasure and this hotel was one of the mist enjoyable that we stayed in the black forest region.

The hotel lacks facilities, even a proper reception but this did not cause any displeasure for us.

Exceptional

This hotel is in a very beautiful building and has lively attendance. I think I will visit again on my way thru from Germany to Spain. Great walks around the vineyards with spectacular views to France and the Rhine.
