A lovely property and well worth a trip to stay at.

Beautifully kept and in a great location for walking into Badenweiler. The room was large and well appointed and the dining room and outside terrace were very welcoming. We found all the staff were really friendly and welcoming and they are a real credit to the property. We had our own designated table for both breakfast and evening meals which was really appreciated.

When the ambient temperate went over 25 degrees Celsius the rooms became stifling and there is no air conditioning. This meant there was no relief from the heat and it was difficult to sleep. Apparently there is no air con due to German building regulations but it is desperately needed in summer.

I just missed having a kettle for tea or a coffee maker in the room as amenities. That would have been super nice to have.

Excellent stay, amazing staff & restaurant!

Staff very friendly! It was an amazing experience to be there for Easter and they even surprised us all guests with Easter chocolate surprise! Restaurant offer amazing food. Loved the decoration as well. The hotel is very close (walking distance) from the Thermal bar and Castle Ruins.

Warm and relaxing weekend with good wines, beer, and potatoes - what more do you need?

Lovely, traditional hotel with friendly multi-lingual staff. Welcome drink in the evening, good variety of breakfast items and fresh breads. The pool/sauna/hammam area is very relaxing and we enjoyed great massages and beauty treatments.

Very nice hotel run by a family. All very well maintained. Small but beautiful garden. Excellent indoor pool area

No air conditioning in the rooms which normally would not be an issue but as we went during a heatwave it would have much better to have it. All facilities in good working order but a bit old in rooms that haven't been renovated.

Relaxed and pampered, we can't wait to return to this lovely hotel!

We really felt at home, the staff was very friendly, helpful and fulfilled any wish we had during our stay! The buffet breakfast was great with many choices. We enjoyed gourmet dinners every evening.

There was not a thing we didn't like! We first had a nice room with balcony but without afternoon sun. When we asked, they offered us a much bigger room with balcony on the south side at a reasonable rate which we happily took and they prepared the new room so we could even change the same day.

I weekend experience that I wish never ended!!

Excellent breakfast, Excellent restaurant for diner. The staff at the hotel were just fantastic. Well warm welcome, extremely hospitable and kind. Service a smile. The owner herself took active interest in the guest hospitality and helped her staff!! As they say a team is only as good as the head!! Here it is a great example of a person leading the whole team from the front and setting an example. These people can surely teach a lot of people in the hospitality industry a thing or two about how to welcome guests at the hotel and how to make people feel comfortable and relaxed. An amazing experience and will surely be back. The chef belts out a fantastic meal. Of course the best for last, the hotel is so beautiful on the inside, so much attention to every detail. Spectacularly beautiful!!

Exceptional

Personnel was very friendly and they helped us multiple times. The Hotel is exceptionally clean. The breakfast is really good and, because of Covid-19, served at the table, Dinner is very good. Personnel makes a point to satisfy customer's wishes. The interior decorations are really elegant and a pleasure for the eyes. WLAN works flawlessly. There is also a room which can be used, if needed, for business purposes, with a desktop computer and printer. There is a nice pool, in a very nicely decorated area, and there is a sauna, Not so far from the hotel there is a Thermalbad and, close to it, the ruins of a Roman bad. All in all we have been very happy about our stay.

You cannot find a better or more welcoming hotel in the Black forest! You will be pampered from the moment you arrive and the chef’s creations are simply amazing. We met couples who come regularly for over two decades and it is easy to understand their choice to do so!

Wir kommen wieder

Ein wundervolles Hotel mit sehr viel Charme. Das Personal war ausgezeichnet und außerordentlich höflich. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Frühstück war ausreichend und wurde immer nachgefüllt. Die Lage ist sehr schön, alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und sehr sauber. Der Wellnessbereich war sehr schön und man kann dort gut zum erholen verweilen. Alles in allem ein tolles Hotel.

Die Kopfkissen waren nicht die bequemsten.

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich, Auf persönliche Wünsche wurde sofort reagiert. Das Frühstück war top. Am besten fanden wir daran, dass die Eierspeisen frisch für jeden nach Wunsch gereicht wurden. Pool und Saunalandschaft auch sehr sauber und ansprechend.

Superbe découverte

Le cadre très chaleureux, personnel sympathique et la réceptionniste parler le français un vrai + pour nous qui ne parlons pas très bien l'allemand. La piscine le sauna très agréable un endroit calme top pour ce ressourcer. L'apéritif offert à notre arrivée Le dîné gastronomique copieux Et le petit déjeuner du choix pour tout le monde. Je recommande cette établissement à 100% Tellement que nous avions aimé nous allons y retourner. Une bonne adresse à enregistrer.

Rien je n'est pas de reproche à lui faire , tout été au top.
