Great place to stay on the border of Switzerland.

Friendly staff, good location, good rooms.

Continental breakfast only. No hot breakfast available. Slightly surprised that no Speck (bacon) was on offer from family Speck. 😉

Great stop over on a 15 hour journey.

We found this great place last minute while driving from Italy to the Netherlands, and it proved to be a fantastic stopover. Since we were traveling with three dogs, we opted for two single rooms to easily divide them between us, which worked out perfectly. The hotel’s location is a huge bonus for pet owners, as it’s situated right next to a large park, making it excellent for the dogs. We appreciated the free parking and found the €15 fee per dog to be totally understandable. The entire experience was wonderful: the staff were attentive, friendly, and open. The restaurant was great, and we left feeling completely rested and well fed. A special mention must go to the breakfast buffet—it’s truly outstanding!

Good and quiet place - could use an A/C unit.

The hotel is in a really nice, quiet place close to the highway. (Ideal resting spot if you travel from northern Germany/Netherlands to Italy). The breakfast had a lot of variety and was super delicious. The staff was helpful and overall the place was good.

The room had no air conditioning and during the night, the room became really hot. We were not able to open the windows only the balcony door, which wasn't ideal for us.

Relaxing after a long day driving.

The location perfect for us travelling from Italy as it’s close to the motorway. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable bed.Plenty of choice for breakfast.

Nice and quiet hotel with a good restaurant

I liked, how I would call it, the "retro" stile of the Hotel. My single room was bigger than expected with very nice furniture, a sofa and even a balcony, that's great for a single room. The bathroom was in good size and modern. Breakfast was plenty and with a good variety in a nice big room. Only the service could be a bit faster. My second coffee had a long way to travel to me...

The bed, although for a single big enough, could be wider, as it is placed to the wall with one side. My elbow hit the wall three times at night when I turned around in bed.

Hospitality at its best

On our stopover travelling from Switzerland back home, this was the perfect stopover. Good location with respect to the motorway, free parking, a swimming pool, nice terrace and restaurant on site. On entering the hotel, it was immediately clear that the manager was paying attention to every detail of every guest. Reception was very friendly, rooms where nice and clean. The pool area on the other side of the street is accessible at all times. We were able to charge our electric car for a small fee on the hotel parking. During our stay, the manager came by several times to greet us and ask if everything was OK. This was one of the best stays I ever had. Not because of the exceptional luxury or spectacular rooms but because of excellent hospitality. I will definitely come back.

Very good breakfast, nice environment around the hotel.

The room was very hot, we couldn't sleep. The highway could be heard as we opened the window. Air conditioning is missing during summer days.

it is advertised as kur hotel and in fact it is acros the street from a public bath, when I got there the bath was already closed and the hotel has nothing to offer in that respect not even a gym or sauna, it is not a kurhotel.

We will definitely go back .

Breakfast was great lot of choices, we had 2 good dinner at the hotel. The room was very comfortable and clean.very close to Thermal bad. The director was very friendly and gave lot of attention to the guest.

The wine choices was very poor.
