A cosy and comfy weekend getaway in central Badenweiler!

Everything! Our reception from the friendly and welcoming staff, the quality and cleanliness of our spacious and comfortable room, the ambience of the cosy lounge bar. The hotel restaurant is absolutely excellent; same for the friendly and efficient service.

A nice place to stay near the spa and Roman ruins

We loved the location and breakfast. The retro radio installed in the bedstead in our room was kind of fun, creaky floors come with the personality of the place. Incredibly comfortable bed. There was a wide range of people staying there, and the people running the hotel were also incredibly friendly and professional. Outdoor parking was available behind and above the hotel.

We ended up eating at the hotel out of necessity after a long drive, but the restaurant is really for a romantic splurge, where you should be rested and ready to spend money on a meal you enjoy. When we stayed there it wasn't possible to just order a dish - you need to choose an appetiser, main course, and dessert. Delicious food, delicious wine - but we would save it for a special occasion next time.

Lovely hotel in the centre of town but still a quiet location. The hotel rooms had a double door to the corridor which we like as it keeps it quiet! Food was absolutely amazing - one of the best dinners of the holiday.

A very charming & pampered spa-break.

Such a characterful, charming hotel excellently located near the spa. Free parking to the side. Our room was super spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the courtyard. The welcome here from the host was so warm and friendly. The service throughout our stay from our welcome, beers served to us on our terrace after the spa, the evening meal to the breakfast next day was superb. Superb selection of food at breakfast. Sitting outside in the terrace was relaxing, and so chilled. One of the best I have ever enjoyed at a hotel. Perfect scrambled eggs. Our evening meal in the restaurant was indeed fine dining, wonderful food with a superb wine selection and wonderful staff. I have used the word “superb” a lot in this review! The restaurant was such a beautiful setting. We will be back. Well and truly pampered here with first rate service.

Charming family run hotel in the centre of town

A family run hotel in the middle of a very beautiful town. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The full breakfast is excellent with so much to choose, both hot and cold. The thermal spa is across the road and the hotel provides a spa kit to take with you including a robe and towels in a carry basket - just BYO swimwear. The location is excellent. There is a restaurant as well as lots of choices nearby to eat and drink. The town itself is beautiful and lovely to wander. The hotel is very comfortable. I had a generous single room with a terrace. Lovely bathroom. There is parking at the back. Overall a lovely place with lovely hosts !

Exceptional

The owner of the hotel strived to give us the perfect room. He provided a spacious one for us and we had a comfortable stay there. Breakfast is very tasty and everything was of high quality.

Great hotel, if you have the right room!

Excellent location, with a great courtyard for drinks in the evening, dinner if you want it and breakfast in the mornings. The reception team were very accommodating when we wanted to change rooms for the final night of the stay. The room we were given initially was a suite - very large but very dated and stuffy - the best rooms (the newly renovated and modern one we moved into) are not available on Booking, you have to go direct to website, we only found this out at the hotel.

The price was steep for a 3 star hotel that could definitely do with some improvements. The one big issue was with the bedding - the pillows were like a poorly stuffed teddy - lumpy, synthetic and unbreathable, as was the duvet, neither of which made for a good sleep in the 25+ degree weather. An easy fix for management though.

Central and quiet location in Badenweiler, across the thermal baths and park. Helpfulness of the young (woman) manager at the reception on 15/06 (morning).

Zentrale Lage. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr gute Küche mit großer Weinauswahl.

Die zusätzlichen Kosten für ein Haustier finde ich mit 20€/Tag etwas hoch.

Esperienza da rifare.

Camera pulita e calda, hotel in ottime condizioni anche se struttura non di ultima generazione. Menzione particolare al personale. Persone squisite e disponibilissime, specialmente l’addetta alla reception che sebbene fosse incinta, quasi prossima al parto, era di una gentilezza e cortesia disarmante. Consigliatissimo. P.s. eccezionale e super varia la colazione, uova strapazzate top.

Probabilmente la tenda della vasca da bagno.

Tolles Hotel mit hervorragendem Service in jeder Hinsicht, zentral und aussergewöhnliches Frühstück!

Die Lage ist perfekt und zentral. Wunderschönes Hotel mit wahnsinnig motiviertem und sehr freundlichem Personal. Frühstück ausserordentlich gut und hervorragender Kaffee!!! Kaffee und Teeauswahl war TOP!!!! Speisen auch sehr gut und tolle Auswahl. Keine Billigprodukte sondern sehr edle Qualität. Der Frühstücksraum resp. Foyer beim Klavier war sehr ansprechend und angenehm leise mit äusserst bequemen Drehstühle. Parkplatz beim Hotel vorhanden und kostenlos! Pluspunkt! Zimmer waren schön warm geheizt und gut ausgestattet. Es fehlte an nichts. Badezimmer etwas klein, aber ok. Schöner Balkon in unserem Zimmer war auch vorhanden. Ruhige Lage und in 2 Min. zu Fuss konnte man in die Therme laufen.

Für uns war es kein Problem keinen Fahrstuhl vorzufinden. Aber evtl. für Personen mit Gehbehinderung? Daher im Vorfeld Zimmer im EG anfragen. Teppiche im Zimmer könnten ggf. ausgetauscht werden.

Sehr schönes Ambiente, ausgezeichnetes 4-Gänge-Menü für eine Männergruppe, freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die engagierte Chefin, die sich persönlich um die Gäste kümmert. Das Frühstücksbüffet war umfangreich und sehr gut. Check-in und Check-out verliefen absolut problemlos. Ich habe den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und komme gerne wieder.

Prettige ontvangst. Mooie ruime kamer. Heerlijk diner. Prima ontbijt. Goede parkeerplaats. Sfeervolle omgeving. Dichtbij de thermische baden.

Wij sliepen op de tweede verdieping en dat was 4 trappen op. Als je slecht ter been bent is dat een probleem. Het menu bestond uit een 3/4 gangen diner. Het eten was heerlijk maar de prijs was aan de hoge kant

Das Frühstück war prima in angenehmer Atmosphäre und unser Restaurantbesuch hervorragend. Eine sehr gute Küche, wir haben sie genossen! Das Zimmer war absolut ruhig . Die Chefin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Das Bad hätte grösser sein können. Für korpulente Personen wäre es etwas schwierig.

Freundliches, zuvorkommendes Personal, überragende Küche, sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet und sehr saubere Zimmer.

Ausstattung Badezimmer knapp über Durchschnitt, für ein Romantikhotel etwas zu "Standard". Aber wirklich sehr sauber und schimmelfreie Silikonfugen!!!
