Beautiful modern apartment with all necessary, very clean and spacious with super comfortable bed. Central location with plenty to see around, everything walkable distance, train station beside that can take you to Paris within 30 min. Nice outdoor patio that would be amazing use on summer time. Host gives very good detailed directions on how to get to place an amazing list of recommendations of restaurants nearby.

Great stay in a perfect location!

We were met outside the building by the owners who walked us to the apartment, explained correct entry using a key fob, and showed us the entirety of the apartment, detailing what amenities were available. Thank you, Etienne and Isabelle, for being such gracious hosts. This was an exceptional apartment that far exceeded expectations. Though the apartment is in a new building, it was within 2 minutes walk from the train station which made it easy to tour downtown Paris via train. The write up suggests that Versailles was a 10 minute walk...we took about 15 minutes but were delighted to find all the shops and restaurants that Etienne had pointed out to us nearby the apartment. Bedding was comfortable with exceptional linens. Kitchen was well appointed... I was surprised to see both a hot pot and an espresso machine! Washing machine was easy to use and efficient, a drying rack was provided. Wi-Fi was easy to utilize with no connectivity issues. We asked about transportation from Versailles to Gare du Nord upon our departure, Etienne placed us in touch with a friend who was able to set up taxi transport at a fair price. Thank you! We would definitely stay in the apartment again. We missed so much of the city of Versailles as we spent most of our time at the palace or at the Louvre. Looking forward to enjoying Sweet Home Versailles again!

A simply wonderful four days in beautiful Versailles!

Very clean, comfortable, within easy walking distance to the sites and restaurants. Isabelle and Etienne always kept in touch.

Everything we needed it to be.

I cannot recommend SweetHome Versailles more. Isa & Etienne were unbelievably warm and welcoming. The apartment felt like home after staying in hotels for two weeks. We cooked a beautiful dinner and drank wine from the hosts vineyard. Woke up rested and refreshed for our day at the Palace (which was a 10 minute walk from the apartment). We had our final end of trip celebration dinner at a beautiful restaurant in the Place du Marché Notre-Dame. It was the perfect way to end our trip before the long haul home to Australia. Thankyou so much Isa & Etienne. I hope we will be back one day!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Etienne’s beautiful and cozy apartment. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt at home. The pleasant atmosphere and Etienne’s kind and thoughtful hospitality made our stay very special. The apartment is tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything one might need – ideal for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the quiet location and all the little touches that show how much care and attention have gone into creating this lovely space. Etienne was a fantastic host – always responsive, helpful, and considerate, while giving us plenty of privacy. We felt very well taken care of throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone and would gladly return any time. Thank you again for everything!

A great apartment for a long weekend in Versailles

Clean, comfortable, quiet and really well located. Friendly and informative host who gave us all the information we needed to know about the area. Could not have asked for a better experience and would definitely return. Both beds really comfortable and the children loved the electric folding bed!

Comfortable apartment in a great location

The apartment was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Etienne provided a lot of helpful information about the local area, and he responded quickly to messages. The location is excellent, just a 2 minute walk to Versailles Chantiers station which has a frequent train service into Paris. Although it's close to the station it's very quiet, we could hardly hear the trains even with the windows open. It's a 15 minute walk to Versailles Chateau and there are plenty of restaurants and shops in the town. We hope to stay again on our next trip.

Highly recommended

Located in a charming and well-kept condominium, the place felt both secure and welcoming. The apartment was beautifully maintained, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Everything was within a short walking distance. The Château de Versailles was a 10/15min walk away. The owner Étienne and his son Jules were super friendly and helpful both before and during our stay.

We truly have no negatives to mention. It was a perfect stay, and we would absolutely return again!

Highly recommended amazing location and modern apartament with all facilities

I was really impressed with this new flat all Modern and in a very secure residential area, 2 minutes away from the train station. Private locked parking, all facilities in the flat and amazing hosts Isabelle and Etienne have been helpful and at the other end of the phone whenever we needed them. Their English better than our French so all fine.

Modern apartment with everything you need. It is near the rail and bus station in a new area, but it is very quiet! Very easy to travel to Paris. Also the Versaille is nice city to walk around and discover the restaurants. The host Étienne is very welcoming and helpful!

The apartment in general is a good value for short term stay. 5 minutes' walk to the train station Versailles Chantie, the cleaning super, they have all the condition for made you own breakfast. local business and restaurants pretty close to the location, the apartment have tv in the living room and bedroom, dishwasher and microwave., bathroom with good size and nice shower..

the only i can say is Posible explain better how used the heater and AC in the book design for information purposes this is only an adviser.

I had a kitchen. All of my meals were FABULOUS!!! Close to markets. Close to the best French wine selections in the world! You won't need a car! Takes some foot time and see everything!

I wish I owned the property to use at my leisure and truly soak in the French culture and enjoy the open arms of Versailles. Etienne is a great conversationalist and I regret not having enough time to break bread with him, enjoy some wine, and talk about the long-standing relationship between France and the USA.

My new standard place to stay in Versailles

The location is great. Everything you need within easy reach. For bigger shopping tours by car, I recommend "Vélizy 2 Centre Commerciale". Especially the Auchan Supermarket has ALL the stuff. 👌🏻 I can also recommend to take the offered car park, nice and cool in summer (underground car park), easily accessible and you save yourself the hassle of looking for a parking space (impossible) or the traffic tickets. The bed was perfect, the pillows are better than ours at home. Tip for families in the summertime: a water playground is nearby (in the direction of the castle). Very nice host, dear greetings!

To the chefs: There is a middle and two small pots. Flat plates only, no deep plates. And bring a ladle with you. Oh, who cooks anyway... 🤣 Pillows on the balcony furniture would be nice.

The Perfect Versailles Break

What a fantastic place! We were met at the apartment by our host who led us to our own secure parking space under the building. The apartment block is very new and built to a very high standard. All he residents we met in the lift or along the corridors were pleasant and very friendly. The palace is only a short walk away and easy to find. There are loads of charming cafes and restaurants to have breakfast enroute to the palace where you can sit outside and watch Versailles wake up. A fantastic genuine host who really wants you to have a great time staying there. A superb quiet apartment which immediately felt like home. And Versailles is a stunning place! We had a wonderful time and were sad to leave. We'll definately return but for longer! We cant recommend this place highly enough. Everything was perfect. Thank you!

Exceptional

This is a new, modern apartment in a secure access apartment block; immaculately clean and nicely decorated; very close to both train stations (easy access to Paris), supermarkets, restaurants and the Palace. We stayed with 2 children (8 and 9) who shared the high tech sofa bed and they loved it. A very friendly and helpful host met us at the apartment and explained what/where/when; we could contact him directly, if needed, during our stay.

Perfect location, very attentive host, convenient and clear apartment with everything you need. The flat is exactly as shown at Booking.com, completely new in a quite residence just 2 steps away from Versailles Chantiers train station. Versailles Chateau is accessible by walk or by bus if you prefer. You may find everyday shops directly at the station or on neighbouring streets. Great value for money definitely.

There is nothing I could mention here. For those arriving at night it might be useful to know that you need to meet your host to get the keys, so there is no check-in at night. But the host, Etienne, is really flexible and attentive, you can always find the solutions.
