Furnished apartment in Samain, Versailles

I came for a professional conference in Versailles, stayed in the apartment for 6 nights. It is really close to the palace and the town center, so everything can be reached by foot. The apartment is very cozy, clean and comfortable. Only a couple thing you should bring with you is your shampoo and soaps. Great value, great location, great hosts. Enjoyed it.

Wonderful apartment in a relatively quiet neighborhood. Owner is very accommodating. It is about a 15 minute walk from the Versailles chateau RER stop, but there is a bus if you prefer. The apartment has everything you would need for a nice stay. The kitchen is small but well equipped. There are only two things that I would have preferred differently. They are that the TV would be in the living room instead of the bedroom and that there was a more comfortable sofa/futon in the living room. Neither of these are a big deal. I just prefer arms on my sofas for comfort. The windows keep the apartment comfortable in warmer weather and have locks that can keep the apartment secure while still letting in air. I highly recommend this rental for a nice place to stay close to Paris but more relaxing.

The apartment was clean and well appointed.it was only 10 minutes from the Chateau which we visited for two full days. Parking was free on a public road ten minutes away . Jacqueline met us and explained all we wanted to know. She even gave us a bottle of red wine ! The location was superb and there were a lot of good restaurants nearby.We hope to return

Roomy, homey, quiet and secure. The tea kettle is fast. I slept well in the bed. Jacqueline was an inspired hostess. She met us on the way, waited while we finished our lunch and escorted us to the apartment. Her English is limited but don't let that worry you. We just used google translate for the tough stuff, tried French and mimed the rest. We left flowers for her and you can continue the tradition si vou voulez. Bring your own soap if you mind using the last renters'.

Appartement proche du château et de la gare pour se rendre à Paris. Accueil exceptionnel avec beaucoup de sympathie et cadeaux de bienvenue. Place de parking sécurisée appréciable.

Appartement bien équipé et décoré, bien situé dans un quartier calme, desservi par un arrêt de bus très proche. Accueil très sympathique par Jacqueline qui nous a donné de bons conseils et des informations historiques concernant Versailles. Idéal pour passer quelques jours en famille (4 personnes) pour visiter Versailles

La cafetière n’était pas propre , sinon l’appartement correspond à l’anonce . Ensemble satisfaisant.

Le logement était fonctionnel, proche des commodités,gare de Versailles et arrêt de bus. l'hôte nous a très bien accueilli. C'est une dame agréable et aimante et qui met tout de suite à l'aise. je recommande vivement

Appartement agréable, bien équipé et calme. Accueil attentionné et généreux. Rapport qualité - prix défiant toute concurrence. Chaleureusement recommandé pour un séjour professionnel (le wifi fonctionne parfaitement) comme de loisirs.

Casa muito acolhedora, situada num excelente bairro muito calmo e sossegado. Tem todo o tipo de comercio, cafes, restaurantes e bares a 5 ou 10 min a pé. A estação de comboios fica a 15 min a pé. A anfitriã Madame Jacqueline é uma simpatia e muito prestável. A compra do passe semanal Navigo é uma excelente opção para quem pretende ir para Paris conhecer a cidade.

Mme Genaudeau propose un petit appartement agréable dans une rue plutôt calme. Appartement assez grand pour 2adultes et 2ados. Il est très bien situé tant pour commerces que pour monuments du patrimoine. De plus mme Genaudeau conseille au mieux. Nous conservons l'adresse pour une prochaine visite !

Très bon accueil dans un appartement bien situé

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce petit appartement très bien aménagé avec nos 2 enfants. L'accueil de la propriétaire et ses précieux conseils ont participé à nous faire profiter au mieux de notre séjour dans la capitale. Nous conseillons vivement ce petit appartement ou nous n'avons manqué de rien. Merci Mme Genaudeau!

My wife and I stayed here for almost three weeks. We visited France for the 2018 Ryder Cup. Its the perfect size for a couple. There is a pull out bed for another person, but I think that would be cramped. But perfect for the two of us. Nice kitchen, living room/eating space, bed room, and bathroom. Americans have to understand that everything in Europe has a smaller square footage than you may be used to in the state - but this was a nice size compared to other places we've been to. Everything we needed was in walking distance - bakery, grocery store, two train stations, restaurants. I'd go for a walk and come home with fresh crepes and croissants every morning. Washer - but no dryer - but that is fine, just run the spin cycle and there is a drying rack in the closet. The train stations will easily get you into Paris - if thats your destination use Gare de Versailles Chateau Rive Gauche - you can't getthe wrong train... One thing about your host - she does not speak English - but that is NO problem. We don't speak French. But Google Translate solves all problems. Jacqueline was easy to communicate with and very responsive to email. If I had a question - like I wanted to have a package delivered to the apartment - I wrote it out, Google translated it, cut, paste & emailed and she'd reply back that same day. She has wi-fi in the apartment which is great. She has cable tv too, but we never bothered... My wife went to the Palace and Gardens when I was at the golf tournament -all walking distance. Most restaurants close fairly early, but the pizza place and chinese restaurants are open fairly late. It was a great place for us to operate from. We went into Paris most days - takes about 45 minutes between walking and train - but no hassles of a car or traffic. Even took the train to London for the weekend and came back. The only downside - there are two schools nearby - with all the kids walking to school there isn't any sleeping in. But that is ok, who wants to do that anyway. A lot of light comes through the windows, and the mornings we did want to sleep in we made sure we closed the metal security screens over the windows the night before - keeps the light out and muffles the noise. We stayed in September - and the temperatures went from thirties to to the eighties over the three weeks - we were always comfortable - just opened the windows to let the cool breeze in. We would absolutely stay here again.
