HONEYMOON RUINED. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Good location

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Save your money & spend it somewhere better. I booked this apartment for our honeymoon, and the apartment (+the host) totally ruined it for us. First, we were greeted by a mouse 🐁 at the entrance to the building, which kept peeping out to say hello every time we went in and out. The apartment was scorching hot (no AC), but we had to close all the windows so bugs won't come in (except they DID - because the ventilation hole in the bathroom can't be closed). Found bugs crawling on my body throughout the evening, and dead bugs on the pillows in the morning. Unfortunately, this isn't all – the bed, because it's framed from both sides, is too short for anyone taller than 1.75 / 5'8. My husband had to sleep while sitting. The apartment itself is old and, at places, falling apart - the doorknob of the bedroom fell off (almost got locked in there), and the cabinet door in the kitchen also started tilting after opening it once. The kitchen and bathroom are tiny and dirty-looking. All this "pleasure" for a whopping 150 Euro/night!! We originally booked this place for 3 nights, but after the first night, we moved out of this place as soon as we could. We told the host about the situation and asked for a refund or compensation, which not only did he refuse to provide - but he tried blackmailing me (only after I contacted booking.com, of course. Beforehand, he ignored my messages) that he would charge us extra for house rules violations for using the electricity and leaving trash in the trash can (went as far as digging through our trash to take photos of every piece of trash). I decided to leave this review here despite the blackmailing, but I'm sure that enough guests who had a bad experience were too intimidated to do so.

I would not stay again unless the shower was fixed to be more useable.

The location was perfect. The bedroom was spacious and the complex was really secure. Great water pressure in the shower.

Two flights of stairs with heavy cases was tricky. The shower is not practical at all. Difficult to maneuver in and out of. Not enough room at all. The towels were musty smelling.

only the shower was to small for my tastes ( I was bumping with my elbows all the time) google maps gives you the wrong position of the adress so it was very confusing to find the right entry. I would replace the flat iron for clothes (as it leaks water all the time) but it worked for what we needed.

Disappointed with the lack of attention to detail

Excellent location for access to centre and transport. Space was sufficient for a couple. The flat and bedding was clean.

The apartment is a bit tired and could do with refurbishment and more cheerful decoration. Though the flat is small (and that's normal for the centre of Versailles) some attention to detail would improve it enormously - wax the lovely oak floors, put new/better curtain rings (many broken), put more interesting pictures, take out dead flowers, put new (and additional) quality coat hangers, maybe retile shower room eventually and change the mixer which you knock into when showering and boil or freeze yourself. Maybe also put instructions for the heating boiler, and for the TV - both needed some time to work out. For the price, I expected better

worst accommodation experience in my life

This accommodation was secured through booking.com. There was no way to get in contact with the property manager. The contact phone number provided, proved to be not in use. I've been in contact with booking.com help line, making 5 long international phone calls trying to get a way to access the accommodation I've paid for, or to secure an alternative accommodation. You can imagine the stress we had. That almost ruined our weekend in Versailles. Finally, after 5 hrs of stress, we've been provided with the access details in the property. Once entered into the property, a horrible stale smell hit us. The pictures of the property posted on booking.com are far from reality. Everything look much "older" than in the pictures.

For real - 2 minutes far from the Chateau

Location... location... amazing location, ubicated for real very close to the Palace main gates and Chapelle Royalle (if you plan to see concerts). We did not meet the owner but she was receptive to all the written messages. Wifi was good and the heating system was flowless. It was important, taking in considderation our staying in january. Was a combination between "never again" and "I love it".

Well.. long list short: the photos on the presentation are very well done but not reflecting the reality. Smells and looks old. Not rustic but old. The refrigerator was like after the war, the sink pipes on the kitchen had a terrible smell and I can describe more and more. But it was clean and somehow pleasant. Mini-mini-mini bathroom with a really strange door between the toilet and the kitchen. The stair case..well, if you are young and in a good shape, no small kidds or heavy suitcases, it's fine but if not... you will climb 2 floors of wood and narrow "snail" stairs.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Es gibt Parkhäuser, Restaurants und das Chateau Versailles in der Nähe

Das Apartment war insgesamt in Ordnung. Alles war vorhanden: Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Toilettenpapier. Leider waren Dusche und Toilette in schlechtem Zustand. Außerdem waren Essensreste der Vorgänger am Geschirr vorhanden. Der Vermieter wollte sich im Nachhinein darum kümmern.

Appartement bien placé. Et calme la nuit. Literie correcte Chauffage fonctionne nickel, eau bien chaude. Dommage pas de gel douche mis à disposition

Salle de bain très très petite, moisissure dans la douche qui est minuscule. meme pas la moitié d'un rouleau de papier toilette mis à disposition. Difficulté pour récupérer les clés car le code donné n'était pas bon. Mais hôte réactif je n'ai attendu que 5 mn pour avoir le nouveau code. Je trouve que facturer 77 euros de ménage pour une nuit passée dans le logement c'est excessif.. Ok faut changer les draps mais pas gros ménage à faire comme quand on y reste 4 à 8 jours. Donc 161 euros la nuit oui c'est très cher.

Apartamento muito simples, mas bem completo (fogão, frigobar, micro-ondas, cafeteira, ebulidor, alguns sachês de chá, torradeira, máquina de lavar roupa, ferro de passar roupa, tábua de passar roupa, varal, aconchegante e gostoso. Ótima localização.

Só um rolo de papel higiênico para 3 pessoas (duas mulheres) para 5 dias. Não havia sabonete em barra ou sabonete líquido para banho. Havia refil de bastão para dissolver em água (tem que friccionar ou raspar) e não havia um dispositivo para ser usado (de plástico ou acrílico, com acionador)

Localisation, soin porte à quelques détails de déco

Salles de bain microscopique (sensation d’avoir la douche dans les toilettes). Les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité de l’appartement. Le mobilier semblait à deux doigts de s’effondrer (table complètement bancale, pas assez de couverts…). Il n’y avait même pas de couvercle dans les toilettes, dont la cuvette était fissurée. Parties communes totalement vétustes. Le digicode ne fonctionnait pas, donc l’immeuble n’était pas sécurisé.
