What a delightful apartment this is - we are so very pleased we stayed here! Communication with the hosts was timely and easy, and nothing too much trouble, even extending our check out time was accommodated without a problem! The apartment itself is in an historic building with all the charm you would expect to find - a large solid double door off the street, a paved courtyard and then gorgeous winding stairs up to the apatment. The photos are accurate - it's very well styled, and utilises all the available space. All of the windows open easily (with gorgeous roof top views!), and as they face two different ways, it's easy to get decent airflow to help on the warmer days - the two pedestal fans provide more if needed. We stayed during a heatwave, and the apartment was very comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and allowed us to easily self cater for a pleasant week long stay. Although small, it has everything we needed - plenty of crockery and cutlery, and all the saucepans and utensils you need. We also used the washing machine, which works well. The shower has ample hot water with good pressure - the bathroom large enough and well designed. The bed was comfy, and there is plenty hanging space and drawers if you want to unpack. Although it was only the two of us - there is also a very well set up nursery off the bedroom, and the sofa bed sets up with ease. The location is brilliant - a short walk to several supermarkets (we mainly went to Monoprix), a couple of boulangeries and many many restaurants. Of course, the Chateau itself is just around the corner, and the train station only a block away. Versailles itself is a lovely city, with lots of history to discover, and walking routes set up the city easy to find on noticeboards in the streets. We spent a week here, and thoroughly enjoyed learning the history of France, in particular the key locations from the beginning of the French Revolution!

Nothing - stay here! (NB As this is an historic building, there is no lift, and air conditioning cannot be installed, hence us not rating this a 10).

Great location for both Versailles and Paris, comfortable, stylishly furnished, light, bright and clean flat. Super easy check in process, good communication. We had a great time here.

Die sehr günstige Lage des Hauses war mitentscheidend für unsere Unterkunftswahl. Die Zimmer im 1- Hinterhof waren wirklich sehr ruhig, das historische Gebäude hat Charakter und die Unterkunft selbst ist modern und stimmig durchgestylt, 'voll instagrammabel'. Der Eigentümer ist bei Ankunft auf unser Hilfeersuchen zur Zusendung eines Zugangscodes zeitnah eingegegangen.

Vor Ort eingetroffen mussten wir feststellen, dass uns vorab nicht wie zugesagt ein Zugangscode übermittelt worden war. Nach einer Stunde Bangens und entnervenden Kontaktversuchen, u.a. mit der demütigenden KI und englischsprechendem Servicepersonal von Booking.com gelang schließlich eine Code-Übermittlung durch den Eigentümer. Nicht gefallen hat uns die unmögliche Platzierung des Bettes, das von den Seiten her kaum zugänglich war, das mittlerweile schon fast übliche Fehlen eines Schrankes und einer Waschtischablage.
