Total Nightmare - to be Avoided At All Costs
Apart from its being clean, there is nothing to like about this place.
This is a single room surreptitiously being hired out to gullible tourists via even more gullible Booking.com who should be ashamed to have such a place on their books. We fortuitously met other inhabitants of the grim building who told us that sub-renting in the buildign was not allowed, hence the cloak-and-dagger feel to accessing it (no owner present, no indication inside the building of where the property actually is). Contact with the ownership prior to arrival, regarding collecting keys, was impossible : e-mails and phone calls were unanswered. We were not advised that a (ludicrous) 900-euro deposit was required. The keys are stored in a post to which cycles are attached - you need to be Sherlock Holmes to find this post and open it. The venue is flagged up as having two double-beds: it has two fold-down sofas, and once they're opened you cannot move and there's not enough room to swing a cat. There is no view. A truly horrid and unwelcoming place in every respect.

There was a broken blind .. although apologies for same it did present a few problems. It seems a bit silly having a dishwasher and only two mugs!!

This space is ideal for a couple only. Since we were 3 adults and a baby it limited a little on the space. Some rearranging of the space was needed.
The door was a little tricky and didn’t inspire much confidence. besides that everything was excellent!

Perfect location
Fantastic location, less than 5 minutes to the palace gates! Also plenty of great restaurants and bars nearby. The apartment is clean, with all the facilities you need for a short stay. Nice bathroom and kitchen. Check-in was easy.
The only thing we would have changed was the bed. There are two sofa beds, but I think the hosts should consider just having one real bed. The sofa beds were very creaky and uncomfortable. If you have back problems, I would stay elsewhere.

In the vicinity of Versailles Palace
We pre-booked 2 nights for this apartment right in the neighbourhood of the Chateau de Versailles in August 2022. We wanted to get to the palace when the gates open at 9.00AM and the location was so convenient that it took only 5 minutes to walk to the entrance. Checking in was a little confusing as there were many multiple similar key boxes hung from stationary bicycles outside the apartment. However, the host was readily contactable via phone and WhatsApp so that photos can be taken to have visual confirmation and clarity. Overall, the studio apartment was bright and airy with large windows and had a nice kitchenette. The provision of a washing machine with detergent was indeed a bonus.
It is a 20 minutes’ walk from Versailles-Chantiers station to the apartment. Rolling heavy luggage over cobbled stones is not an easy task. Checking in was a little confusing as there were many multiple similar key boxes hung from stationary bicycles outside the apartment. Luckily, the host was readily contactable via the phone and WhatsApp. To get to the studio apartment on the second floor we had to navigate the stairways which were dark, narrow and quite steep. We were pleasantly surprised to meet the cleaning person when we opened the door of the apartment – he had just finished sanitising the place! Initially the studio reeked of strong chemicals, but the smell slowly dissipated once the windows were left open. As there is no air-conditioning, the studio can get oppressive on hot summer days. Sofa beds are never comfortable, and we wished a proper bed was in place.

It’s a nice enough place but not a hotel - it’s apparently an AirBnb managed by a hotel?
Check in was very difficult. It’s at-a-distance no-contact in an unmarked apartment building. We didn’t receive clear email instructions - they were sparse and hard to follow. The keys were stored in a lockbox attached to a bike rack down the street?! We mistakenly thought we were going to more of a hotel. When we had trouble - they gave us the wrong access code and blamed us for coming early - no one came to help us and our French is poor so communication was difficult. It took about an hour to get in. There are no signs or markers of any kind showing the name of the « Hotel »?!

Excellent
This is a lovely bijou studio apartment. Spotlessly clean, well furnished and equipped. You are just a few minutes from the Château and many great restaurants and parks. Two bits of advice: In the busy summer weekends when there are events at the Château its worth pre-booking car parking at the Cathedral as the nearby car parks were all full and its much cheaper. Secondly, there are TWO sofa beds in the apartment. We thought there was only one and when we opened it there was no bedding resulting in me sending a terse message to the owner at 1.00am!! Only to discover the other couch was also a sofa bed and was fully made up for us. I felt like an idiot.
Only a tiny tiny issue but we couldn't immediately match the key to the apartment as the doors in the building have no numbers. Maybe I missed something in the instructions but had to try a few doors before I found the right one.

Séjour agréable.
Très bon emplacement, à 50m du château. Studio agréable, calme et lumineux. Bien organisé avec le nécessaire de base. Situé dans le vieux Versailles et tout proche des commerces de bouches. Il permet par sa proximité d’accéder à pieds à tous lieux Versaillin et de se laisser porter par son propre sens de la découverte.
Je mettrai l’accent sur le confort de la literie (il s'agit dans ce cas de Canapés convertibles). L' armature du canapé est trop présente (sommier et cadre) le matelas est aujourd'hui ramolli. Il est à noté que j'ai séjourné dans cet appartement 25 nuits pour raison professionnelle et que j'ai eu le temps d' en expérimenter ses faiblesses.
Il est à noté que l'appartement n'était pas chauffé quand je suis arrivé (5 Janvier) et je trouve dommage qu'une mis en route des radiateurs à distance (par téléphone, comme cela peut ce faire de nos jours) ne sois pas pratiqué par les loueurs, en général, en saison froide.

Die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos und angenehm. Bei unserer Ankunft gab es ein paar kleinere Probleme, doch der Kundenservice war direkt für uns da und hat sich hervorragend gekümmert.

Leiam do que não gostei, impossível dizer que gostei de algo após ter sido ludibriada em 500 euros a mais do que já tinha pago.
Somos um casal, já passamos por mais de 15 países, eu tenho 59 anos e meu marido 69 , foi a pior experiência de todos que já estivemos, fomos enganados...leia abaixo Ficamos 2 horas aguardando o check in no hall do edifício, sem água, sem sequer uma cadeira, sem banheiro.
Só liberou ir buscar as chaves após exigir a caução de 500 euros além do valor que já havíamos pago pelo booking. Como estávamos exaustos, pagamos a caução, afinal a promessa era que o valor seria devolvido. Observação Não devolvem a caução, alegando que o balcão ao lado do fogão foi queimado, mostrando uma foto onde nada se vê. Não queimamos nada, mal fizemos comida. Temos fotos de tudo.

Após pagar os 500 euros a mais eles irão obrigar você ir buscar as chaves em outro endereço. Em um local onde ninguém dá as caras,.
Ao informar o check out às 6 horas, foi solicitado que deixássemos as chaves em cima da mesa dentro do apartamento e a porta só encostada.
Alguns moradores são empregados coniventes com o golpe.
Após 1 dia do checkout já informaram que NÃO iriam devolver os 500 euros.

La salle de bain parfaite.
Confort des canapé convertible en lit qui ont l’air d’être pas mal usé, dévisser, ça bouge quand il est déplié surtout un des deux lit, le deuxièmes qui n’a plus de côtés de canapé et qui laisse apparent les ferrailles du canapé et qui du coup peut faire mal voir couper si on se butte dedans.
2 chaise pour manger à la table donc à 4 y en a deux qui manges debout.
Quand les deux lits sont déplier ont ne peux plus naviguer du tout dans la pièce ni utiliser le bureau du coup.
Une machine à café nespresso mais aucune dosettes, donc pas de café pendant tout le séjour.
