Great place to base yourself for a few days in Versailles. Would book again if I returned

Great location (but not really 5 minutes from the main chateau gate!). Easy walk to the station and the restaurant/bar district. Very well equipped - even had umbrellas in case the of rain! The host was great and easy to communicate with.

The location is wonderful. Close to the Palace as well as the train station. The apartment is adorable with a pretty view. We were on the 3rd floor. There is no elevator, prepare for stairs.

Great location! Short walk to a wide range of restaurants and other outlets. Nice to have a large fridge and cooking facilities. Very comfy beds! We didn’t try the sofa bed but great to have the option. Very good communication and clear instructions from the host 10/10

Additional mirrors would have been useful as we were 4 women getting ready for an event! Would suggest one in the hallway and one in the main bedroom. A normal family probably wouldn’t notice!! :-)

Comfortable & convenient for Versailles.

The location was excellent to walk into Versailles Palace & for restaurants & bars. The apartment was very clean & comfortable and had everything we needed for a short stay. Really easy to get to by train from Charles de Gaulle airport

There was a bit of noise from someone walking around in the flat above late at night but apart from that we couldn’t fault it.

All-in-all a good stay in Versailles, with friendly host.

The location is good, near centre of town, close to the main roads. Decor was new and tasteful.

Key handover at a different place, challenge with parking. The flat is NOT within 5 minutes walk from the Palace, as claimed! The distance is 1.1 km, so closer to 10 to 15 minutes. The second bedroom is not private (open door and windows to the living room, so should not really be described as a second room). Parking is challenging. Best to park in the open air parking lot next to the flat on the main road. The parking in another complex is inconvenient, and there is no way to park in front of the flat for any long period of time.

Excellent appartment and location

Excellent accommodation for Versailles and Paris. Host Étienne is very helpful, sends information ahead and gives a warm welcome. The appartment is situated at a very convenient location, just a few minutes from the palace and the train to Paris. With 4 people you have a double an two single beds, which was perfect for our family. Kitchen is small but complete and everything is nicely and tasteful decorated. Parking available just 100 meters away. Very good accommodation!

Exceptional

This flat is exceptional. Fantastic location, incredibly helpful hosts, we wish we could have stayed longer. We'd return here, if we ever came back. We could do laundry which was important on our long trip. Restaurants were close by, and the walk to Versaille palace on one of the days was easy! Proximity to the train station was also ideal! Beautifully decorated, our kids didn't want to leave. Nothing could be improved - awesome place!

Bijou apt 3 flights up - no lift

A perfect bijou apt perfectly suitable for a family of 4, but not two couples. One double bedroom, second bed is a bed setee in living room and third bed is also in living room behind a petition. Its tiny, but incredibly well laid out. Faces the sun all day, so gets extremely hot unless curtains are shut, which defeats the object of the view. Great location, great facilities. Just small, hot, and 3 flights up with no lift. Recommended a fan to owner.

Just needs a fan as clearly air con isnt an option.

A perfect place to end our holiday

The flat is stunning - beautifully decorated and perfectly appointed with all the facilities that you could need for a stay. It is immaculate and we would certainly stay again - very close to the chateau and also close to both the RER station and Versailles Chantier SNCF so you can be in Paris within a maximum of 25 minutes. We were met by Etienne who was incredibly helpful getting our very big bag up the stairs! And was also very knowledgeable as to the best places to eat in the area . They kindly made up the spare bed for my daughter (which she loved - being in a separate room to 'mum'!) And I had the joy of the master bedroom which is comfortable, calming and a lovely place to relax. Having access to two TVs after two weeks on the road was also great - we could both watch something that we each wanted to when we first arrived after a very long drive! It's a small thing but very much appreciated, particularly by my 11 year old!!

Nothing to dislike at all - an absolutely wonderful place to stay - although it was very hot when we were there and maybe the provision of a fan might have made the nights a little more comfortable - but by no means a dislike - more of a slight suggestion

Great small flat. Close to everything you need!

Tho location was excellent. Handy for transport links and a short walk to the palace. Our host Etienne was very helpful, navigating us through the Tour de France to the property. Foe a small family on a short stay the place is ideal and better than a Hotel in many ways.

The owner is extremely friendly and helpful. He provided excellent directions for taking the train from Paris and for walking from the train station to the apartment. Loved the decor of the apartment. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. Everything was better than expected!

Amazing location, wonderful, clean and well thought through decoration. Amazing host!

The host was super friendly and helpful. We had to change our arriving time by about 2 hours (late night) because we had to pick up our family from the airport. He understood and was very flexible. He gave a lot of information about the area and what was the easiest/cheapest way to get around. The appartement was modern, fully furnished. Attention had been given to every detail. All in all 10/10 :)

Beautiful small apartment in a perfect location

The host was really great, meeting us at the garage and walking us over to the apartment. The apartment is cozy and nicely decorated and it matches the photos on the website. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the train station, restaurants, patisserie and of course, the palace.

The place is tiny, but it's expected in the area. We were two couples travelling and we got to know each other a lot better by the proximity.

Excellent, well designed little flat, close to the palace.

The location was perfect to explore Versailles for a whole day, as it is a few minutes from the palace; it is also close to shops and supermarkets. It is a small flat on the fourth floor, but some excellent design by Etienne and his wife have created a sense of space - the bedroom is large with loads of storage, the kitchenette has an oven and dishwasher and espresso maker and plenty of crockery, the shower room feels big, thanks to a cool sliding door. Etienne also made everything very easy, and the price was extremely reasonable by the standards of our trip. Versailles palace is huge and can be exhausting, so being able to give a whole day and early evening to it, and then fall into a comfy flat made it much easier. Thank you Etienne!

Lovely time in Versailles

100% recommend. Étienne was a very proactive communicator and very helpful leading up to our arrival. We used the Sceaux Avenue parking, which was just around the corner (at 42€ for just under 48 hours there, I thought it was a bit expensive for parking, but it was easy, plentiful, and had large parking spots). He was very friendly and helpful; he was the finest host we've had! The apartment is very well kept, renovated, and decorated with original art by the owners. We loved the location. It was indeed a quick walk to the palace and to restaurants/shopping. We regretted that we didn't stay there for the Paris portion of our trip as well, because it was also very close to two train stations with a 13-minute train ride to Gare de Montparnasse. The apartment's kitchen was small, but had everything we needed: dishwashing machine, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, oven, stovetop, and all cooking tools. The pantry had some basic items already in it, and we liked having an espresso machine. The shower was spacious and nice, and there is a laundry machine as well. Absolutely top notch.

Our only complaint was just the noise. We did hear some neighbors playing loud music at a few points, but fortunately it didn't interrupt our sleep. The floorboards also creak loudly, so our kids' nighttime trips to the toilet were disruptive. People should be aware that you have to climb three flights of stairs to get to the apartment. We didn't mind ourselves but understand that some might have an issue with it.

Comfortable and beautiful!

Location was great for the Palace and the station. There was parking close by which was free during August. Shops close by for fresh groceries. Hosts met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. Lots of information supplied for travelling into Paris and local restaurants/attractions. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children (16 and 10). The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with full working kitchen. Highly recommend!!

Great comms with Etienne before we arrived and on the day to arrange a convenient time to meet him for the keys and to access the property. Clean and bright apartment, good beds and lots of space. Spacious shower. Perfect for a short stay. Great location and it really is just c.10 minutes to the Palace, with lots to see if you walk down the side streets. Good restaurants nearby - rue Satory has a a few and a great patisserie (Bigot) … We really enjoyed our two nights. Thank you

No real negatives, just a note of caution: perhaps keep the windows closed at night - we kept the windows open on the first night, but it there was quite a bit of noise outside (people not cars) - so the second night we kept them closed. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, no real hardship but may not suit anyone struggling to climb stairs.

Un appartement magnifique, à 2 pas du Château de Versailles

Isabelle est très accueillante et disponible (il est difficile de définir une heure d'arrivée dans la région parisienne, mais elle était présente quand nous sommes arrivés). L'appartement est exactement comme indiqué dans l'annonce, mais en mieux! il est décoré avec goût, des meubles et équipements de belle qualité, tout y est! on s'y sent vraiment très bien. Le parquet grinçant nous rappelle que c'est un vieil immeuble, mais c'est ce qui fait tout le charme de l'appartement. A 10 /15 minutes à pieds des principaux lieux à visiter, c'est vraiment agréable. Un livret nous attendait avec toutes les informations à l'intérieur (dont les restaurants/boulangeries etc, avec jours et heures d'ouvertures par exemple). C'est vraiment un très bel appartement que je recommande les yeux fermés.
