Dishonest representation of the property. Glad we only booked one night.

There was a full, modern kitchen. I can't think of any other redeeming features.

There is NO parking. The owner lied about that. He told me to park in the train station carpark which had warning signs everywhere about paying fees as there was no street parking available. The bathroom is ridiculously small. There is a foot only between the toilet and shower, the sink is too small to use. You have to change outside the bathroom. The bed only had a sheet and a thin duvet. There were no additional blankets and it was cold. The pillows are lumpy. The bed is small and uncomfortable. The heating worked in the bathroom but not in the main area. This is not "an apartment". It is a converted garage. We should have read the reviews before booking.

Bizarre behavior from owner

Booked in and received a happy message stating I should have everything I need for a comfortable stay. They advertised toiletries but left 2 cheap half rolls for two people for 3 nights. Sent owner a message asking if they could pop in with another roll. Ignored. Called the number, owner said to go buy in a shop, with attitude. When I explained how much they left me for three nights, they said they would contact the cleaners. Waited, no further response. People like this really annoy me. I left early, letting them know why. No response. Lodged complaint with booking.com, the owner's communication to them was a blank space. Asked for, and received a partial refund, minus full cleaning fee, as a chargeback from bank. I did have to wash my bottom in the shower, hope the cleaners cleaned it well for the next guests. In short, any issues don't expect the owner to help. Also paid cleaning fee but you are expected to separate and take your rubbish out - not in the property description. Regarding the property, the entrance is not the house as it looks in the photo, it is a conversion of the garage on the side. Had to walk through someone's garden to get there, with people staring at me. To be fair not everyone stared. Free parking advertised is off road, you are not allowed to park in the bays in front. This property was neither the cheapest, nor the only one available, like for like. There are kinder hosts to give your money to. This owner is just bizarre, to phrase it very nicely.

Good shower, decent kitchen, good location for buses.

Bathroom was tiny, had to have the door open to be able to bend down to shave. Bed too low and mattress too soft. Sofa too low. No table to put drinks on.

Week exploring Bournemouth & Poole

Location to train station and bus routes, yet it was quite even peaceful overnight. loved the smell of the lavender plants wafting in on breeze. Highlight of the week was visiting and exploring Brownsea Island. Walking the Bourne down to Bournemouth pier.

A comfortable and affordable stay with a private bathroom

The location is quite good, though it's less of a factor if you’re driving. All the necessary items are provided, and the room size is comfortable for a couple staying for a few days. Overall, it’s a good value for the price.

The bathroom is very small, as expected since I had read other reviews before booking. However, I chose this place because the price is reasonable and I preferred not to share a bathroom with the owner.

The property was in a great location,close to shops and train station and main roads in and out of Bournemouth but also close to the beach.

A slightly bigger bathroom but there’s absolutely nothing the host can do about that 😂

Absolutely loved this find on Booking.com! Highly recommend to everyone, and we certainly wouldn't hesitate booking here again, should we be visiting the area again. Great kitchen and a bonus of a washing machine. Lovely and warm apartment - nice and snug 😁. The bed was comfy and the bedding was soft.

The shower room is slightly on the compact side, but it certainly does what you need it to. It certainly felt cramped when trying to sit on the toilet. As there are more than 1 apartment at this location, can I recommend they be named, or numbered, to assist with finding the one you are staying in, when arriving in the dark. The towels were nice and fluffy, but could be doing with being bigger - so all shapes and sizes of people, can keep their modesty when out of the shower. Other than that, absolutely LOVED it.

Comfy and handy location, good base to explore the area. Ample on street parking in adjacent roads.

Shower room is tiny, I could shave and shower my feet whilst sat on the loo (if I chose to!). However it was functional and for a short stay not a major issue.
