B & B with a cosy English charm

The Ingleside is located almost "downtown" in Lynton in walking distance to all the restaurants and shops. Hiking paths are also reachable from this B & B without the need for a car etc. The house is very cosy with a traditional charm, thus, it is like you would imagine a typical English B & B. The breakfast was very good with lots of options. The owner, Diane, is a very nice lady with some good advice regarding the area around Lynton and Lynmouth. I would definitely come again.

The only downside, was that we did not have a shower curtain in our bath, owed by the unique room design, however, that was very well manageable.

The property was in a perfect hillside location close to everything with a fantastic view of the town. Superb breakfast cooked by Keith.

The parking was great, though a little tricky to manoeuvre into.

We liked everything, the hosts are lovely, welcoming and can't do enough for you, relaxing stay, clean, definitely worth a visit.

Perfect for walkers

The location is perfect on High St. The breakfast choice and quality was exceptionally. Diane and Keith couldn't do enough. Even parked our van!

Location was great, everything thought of to make the stay enjoyable.

Although we absolutely understand why timings are as they are, we would have liked the opportunity to have breakfast just 15-30(max) mins later perhaps just on one day. We did find that Keith & Diana were helpful & responsive to requests so all was excellent.

A gem of a hotel!

The hosts Keith and Diana are excellent. They are very welcoming when you arrive at the hotel. The hotel is immaculate, it is a traditional style hotel, full of character and fits in perfectly with the sea/country location of Lynton/Lymouth. The home cooked breakfast is delicious and plenty to eat. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities you require. The location of the hotel is perfect in Lynton, only a couple of minutes stroll to the centre of town, yet it's extremely quiet. The mountain views from the hotel are lovely. I would definitely stay here again

Stunning B&B

The B&B was lovely. It was in a great location. Our room was large with a balcony, giving us amazing views over Lynton and the coast. Keith and Diana made a lovely breakfast each morning, and nothing was too much hassle for them. We will definitely return.

Warm welcome by Diana. Well equipped and comfortable room with great views over Lynton & Lynmouth. Excellent breakfast freshly prepared by Keith. Great local knowledge by Diana with advice on where to visit and how to get there! Close to local shops and restaurants and easy access to the Cliff railway and Lynmouth.

Not the easiest to find and steep hairpin bend to car park but it was worth it!

Superb

Diana and Keith are lovely hosts, who made us feel at home the moment we stepped through the door. Diana was always happy to help, even with our goals for the holiday. For us, this was to see the Lynmouth part of the South West Coast Path and she provided useful maps for our stay. We always felt comfortable at the Ingleside. Keith, who does the cooking with an AGA, serves up an excellent breakfast in the morning. Amongst the best we've had from our various stays around the UK. If we decide to holiday in Lynton in the future, the Ingleside will once again be in our mind. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine the only thing that was a bit of a pain was the house is on a steep hill and there is a really sharp turn up to ingleside to park the xar if you have a big car it's awkward but apart from that everything was fine 🙂
