Terrible experience. Not worth the money.

Location was good

We couldn’t sleep at all the first night because of how dirty and smelly the apartment is. Dirty bed, broken dishwasher, smelly moldy plates, no amenities, too warm as no air conditioner. We paid over £100 each night. And we really don’t think the experience is worth the amount of money we paid for. Plus the owner of the property didn’t reply to the booking.com’s email or phone call, meaning that they refused to cooperate or offer us a refund for the night. He was also very rude and not friendly at all when we reached out to him. Unfortunately, booking.com said there is nothing they can do because the property owner is not responding.

Key safe was stiff, key didn’t open the main door had to get someone to buzz us in. One of the bathrooms wasn’t cleaned . Hairs in bath and black marks , dirty towel on floor. Found this shocking and contacted host to be given a rude reply

Great place to stay, disappointing customer service

Comfortable and had everything you needed. Each bedroom had its own bathroom.

Issue with check in, delayed by an hour. Keys were missing from lockbox, owner did not reply to our message or phone calls. Had to phone customer support to resolve issues. Small cleaning issues, previous guests fake eyelashes were still left on the bathroom mirror. Only three chairs despite accommodating four guests.

Potentially great flat with some fab features

There were are two bathrooms - a real plus! The flat is modern and bright. Beds are very comfy. There is a large car park and the location of the flat is good.

The window in one room was stuck fast and wouldn’t open. The shower door wouldn’t close and there was nowhere to put soap. There was no mirror in the en-suite bathroom and nowhere to put one’s own. There wasn’t much crockery, some of the bed sheets weren’t clean and they were all very, very wrinkled. There were various bits of maintenance that could easily be carried out. Worst problem was the dishwasher - it didn’t work and had some crockery encrusted with stale food that smelled really high - very high. We shut the dishwasher door tight, messaged the owners of the flat and never opened the dishwasher door again while we were there. The flat could be lovely with some attention and more care to detail.

Size of the apartment

Wasn't cleaned properly, had washing on when we arrived and stayed in the washing machine the whole time. Dishwasher had dirty glasses and cups in and smelt funny. Microwave smelt like curry. Fridge was too cold made our food freeze. Freezer needs de frosting. Hot tap on bath didn't run. Plug in the bath couldn't get out so had to use a knife to pop it out.

The place could do with some touch ups, towels in bathroom smelled stale, dials for hob are worn and made it hard to use, 1 of the 3 were broken.

The host was reachable at every hour giving us clear guidance and recommendations. As someone who is frequently down in Manchester for the football, this apartment surpassed all other stays in terms of quality/price. I will use this apartment again

The location was okay and the owner was helpful.

The apartment was not clean and when we asked for the cleaners to come back, they were rude and very disrespectful. It stank of smoke when we first walked into the apartment and we had to spray air freshener and open every window.

The property has excellent security and the owner is very proactive in contacting and ensuring arrangements are clear.

In these times of Covid I was unhappy with the cleanliness of some of the features in the apartment. The rug in the lounge was very stained and had not been hoovered. The bin in the bathroom was full of water. Some of the bed sheets were marked, as were the walls. For the price, I expected better.
