Location was great and good to have parking in such a central location.

Trying to gain access to the apartment needs to improve, you have to wait for someone to exit the building before you can access. We were outside for 30 minutes in the rain & landlord didn't respond to calls or txt messages. The flat has significant black mould throughout, walls, ceiling, tiles & windows. The furniture is stained, old and unclean and nothing like the photos. Only some of the heaters work and unable to shut one of the bedroom doors as bed in the way. The toilet makes a horrendous noise when flushing which goes on for over a minute meaning you can't flush it at night. This apartment needs significant improvements & would advise to avoid.

Excellent accommodation

The location was excellent, the apartment was very clean spacious and extremely comfortable, we had an amazing time the apartment is located next to the city centre so near all excellent resturants and shops. Excellent value for money. And a wonderful host kept in touch making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I would most certainly recommend this apartment, if you want a place that's value for money clean and comfortable.

Close to city but very basic bordering on unacceptable

We were.a large family group and the property was very close to all the city centre amenities we needed.

The flat was tired and grim in places. Although nine can sleep there ( 3 double beds one room and 2 in other) minimal room throughout flat. Would not have been room to do breakfast for everybody. Very crapped space. We had to wait outside for a tenant to open door to let us access flat . The lady questioned why we were going in and did not appear overly happy to let me in which is probably understandable. A notice inside saying Airbnb or holiday let not allowed which caused some anxiety for us. Sone areas in flat in poor condition, rotted wood at windows, smell of damp throughout. Not overly clean. The underground car park had homeless people who appeared high on drugs and my daughter felt very nervous going to get her car myself and son accompanied her and 2 men were leaning on her car and were quite intoxicated and intimidating.

This place is ok for 1 night and for groups of really close people.

Origionally we were given check in instructions which, to be fair, were really good but the host met us in the car park which was much easier for us. The accommodation was 2 mins from where we needed to be which was great.

The information didnt say we would have to share bedrooms. 1 bedroom has 2 doubles, the other has 3 doubles. Not reallly satifactory for our group. It was a bit disturbing to find 2 people sleeping under our car the next morning.

Great apartment for groups

This was everything we needed! There was a group of 8 of us over from N.Ireland for the football. We wanted somewhere comfortable and central and this definitely offered both. It had comfortable beds and a great lounge area for us to all enjoy together before heading out. The host sent us a lot of information on the property beforehand which made everything very easy to understand.

Basic functional stay only

Location was excellent right in city centre and lots of good places to eat very close by with good transport links. Plus car park space very helpful. Apartment stocked with crockery and appliances.

You had to wait for someone to come out of the building to initially access the property. No way of accessing keys without someone letting you in when you first arrive. Building has a no Airbnb/holiday rental policy so that was awkward. Black mold on windowsills and both bathrooms with no working extractor fans and many light bulbs needing to be changed. Basic but functional accommodation but access and mold need addressing.

Central Location, Big apartment with plenty of room for groups. Plenty of kitchen equipment. Cheap.

Access to property is poor on arrival, Having to wait 15 mins in the rain for someone to leave the apartment block to gain access (only find this out day before arrival). Mouldy apartment that smells of damp. Parking area used by homeless and full of faeces. You have to risk getting a parking ticket or park elsewhere before getting keys to access parking. Overall a disappointing stay that I wouldn't recommend to anyone other then a big group looking for a cheap stay in the centre of town.

Perfect for our vacation's closure

The location is the best, like only 3-5 minutes away from everything, literally the best place. The two rooms can fit 10 people, spacious living room, most importantly 2 toilets!

Had some problems when we first arrived and it was hard to reach the staff, response was delayed. But the problems were solved afterwards

It was big enough and a good location

The refund of my deposit. They unfairly took £30 saying the mattress was wet (it was not) my friend confirmed a check before she left and little crumbs in the bed. They stated that they had to flip the mattress and took £30 because the cleaner was 70 and nearly broke her back. It was not I asked for a lesser penalty due to the oven not working and having to pay out for different food due to this they ignored me… rude and just ridiculous

Very disappointing stay. The apartment was dirty and poorly maintained, with moldy bathrooms and a run-down feel, matching previous reviews. I’m perplexed as to how management allows short-term rentals despite clear prohibitions on the notice board. The only positive was the location, but the owner's authoritative communication added to the frustration.

Not what the pics show and very mouldy!

The property had a central location and free parking was a bonus, the host was attentive and answered any questions I had

The property we stayed in is not what the pictures show!!!!! we were put in a flat covered with mold, it stunk, it was noisy, we luckily had plans our whole stay and only slept there, I wouldn't reccomend to anyone who has health conditions! The fire alarm in the living room was taped up with duck tape, as soon as you walk in the building it says no Air bnb or subletting permitted.

Great location and value for money but a bit tired

Great location and space in the apartment for the price paid Very close to main shopping street in Manchester along with bars etc and also free parking Host provided good instruction for checking in and directions but not great that you have to wait outside the building until someone leaves for you to get access to the building and collect the keys.

However apartment is quite tired and wasn’t cleaned very well. Bit mould in the bathroom and there are no windows and the extractor fans didn’t work. There were fans in the rooms but some didn’t work and quite a few of the lights didn’t work, some in the bathrooms and hallway. Also felt rushed on checkout as it says 10am but had a message at 9:15 saying the cleaner is waiting, confirm when checked out.

Not the apartment I booked false advertisements

Location was good

The apartment on booking.com was not the apartment we got as the picture on booking.com site was completely a different apartment to what we arrive to ☹ this was very misleading and the apartment was not clean, hairs found in bed , mould on showers and windows , and the place had a bad smell , there was no hot water , there was a tv there but had no stations , beds uncomfortable. Wouldnt recommend this apartment VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS APARTMENT

Safety concerns

Booked for 50th birthday well in advance. Contacted by owners couple of days before. To access the property you have to wait for someone to leave or enter and kind of sneak in. Sent a video that showed a flat that looked very different from one advertised on booking.com and a bathroom that was mouldy. We’re told NOT to strip the beds (make your own minds up about that…). If you would like to see the video please message me and I will happily forward it. Asked for a refund due to safety concerns- didn’t get one. Booked travelodge Piccadilly and it was perfect! I suggest you do the same…

Fab location at very reasonable price

Location is fantastic , 1 minute walk from the centre . Excellent price for apartment too. Host is friendly and accommodating . We are family of 7 and it suited us being together ( not renting 2 hotel rooms ) and being close to all the action

It was horrible. Never again.

The location was perfect.

The host is horrible. The place wasnt cleaned and the sheets on the bed was dirty. We tried to contact the host, but she keep declined our calls and messaging that she was “out of the country”. The pictures doesnt live up to the place. We got our keys, from the hosts friend. But he wasnt helpfull in regrads to the problems we had in the apartment.

Great location and size but let down by poor cleaning and contact's attitude.

Absolutely brilliant location! Literally in the middle of the City Center with everything just a walk away. Tram Station 3 min walk and can take you anywhere in the City.

Authoritarian whatsapp messages and cold attitude from contact. Just not a nice or courteous person. Place was not clean at at all. We couldn't use one of the 2 showers as the shower head and floor was covered in mould and green gunk. had to dettol wipe everywhere as we had kids and there were layers of dust all round. We had to sleep on top of the covers because bedding was iffy. Some walls looked like they were painted in 2 minutes. Place has so much potential but let down by some very quick fixes and regular use of bleach.
