Beautifully furnished clean house, comfy bed with fabulous bedding.Peter was very friendly and helpful.

The B&B is decorated with great taste with turn-of-the-century items, and all of them have a story which Peter is more than happy to share. The house itself also has an interesting backstory. The room and bathroom are spacious and cosy at the same time. Once again, the decoration with old maps (a hobby I shared with our host) is a charming touch. Breakfast is more British than continental, but there will be sugary items for those with a sweeter tooth. Peter is doubling as the cook in the morning, and caters to the guests' dietary needs. Kilmorie House is in a quiet street, but the high street is not far away, everything is within 5-10 minutes by foot. All in all, we had a fantastic stay at Peter's, and I would definitely come back if I ever find myself in Elgin once more. Thank you for everything!

It is hard to fault this property. For me it’s almost the ideal B&B. The house has been beautifully restored and decorated. The room was just what I want: spacious, with a large sofa, a table and two chairs set in the bay window, overlooking the garden and with a tray containing everything you need for tea and coffee. It was quiet, it was dark, you could open the windows. The en suite was modern and had everything I needed. The breakfast was perfectly cooked. The host was charming.
