The bedroom was spacious and the beds were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and I liked how the mirror by the sink had a light with different settings.
The bed gave me a great night's sleep!
The shower wasn't very powerful when it was on the hotel setting. There wasn't much leg room when I was on the toilet as one side is close to the wall.

The room we had was large, clean, and beautifully finished. It had tea and coffee, two comfy chairs and coffee table, a place to sit and do make-up (hair-drier also provided) or use as desk-space. The bathroom was NOT one of those 'squeeze it in to make it an en-suite' - plenty of room, and again nicely finished. Next time I need to stay in Elgin, this is the first place I will look for availability.
I wouldn't say I didn't like it - but I can understand how some people might find being on the ground floor and looking out to the road, not to their taste - of course I can only comment on the room we stayed in.
