Ok stay in handy area but needs improvement

Good location for a work visit and next to a couple of bars albeit the staff at one of them was very unfriendly for no apparent reason. The apartment itself is nice and spacious with a great view out onto the square. Its well equipped (fridge/freezer, dishwasher etc) and value for money was good too. The guy onsite was extremely helpful and pleasant and was doing his best to assist. Overall it wasn't terrible and it was a pleasant enough stay but it seemed a bit like a new apartment that time had somehow forgotten. The area was affected by terrible floods in 2021 and perhaps the apartment building hasn't quite recovered since.

Whilst it was generally pretty clean the toilet bowl had water scum in it - hadn't been used for a while by the looks of it, there were crumbs in drawers, a dirty pan had been left and (full) bathroom bins that had not been emptied. Old coffee pod in coffee machine. There were no bin liners (bin needed a deep clean) or dishwasher tabs despite the welcome leaflet saying otherwise. One hand towel only provided but that got sorted very quickly. I got the impression that the guy onsite was being left to do everything (cleaning, reception, building maintenance etc) and was doing his best in difficult circumstances. It was also extremely hot during the visit and the air con wasn't working. Apparently 4 of the apartments had the same issue and it had been reported. I think the building owner needs to get a few things sorted out.

Lovely quiet hotel apartment with incredibly helpful staff

Very nice, spacious, well equipped apartment with convenient free parking right outside. A nice quiet location a short drive to many highlights of the ardennes. Incredibly helpful staff would highly recommend.

The apartment had air conditioning but we didn't work out how to use it during our Spring time stay, this wasn't a problem for us since the temperature was very pleasant and cool at that time of the year, but would check that this works for a warm summer visit.

quiet, large studio, good shower, enough kitchen materials

Studio was dirty (hairs everywhere, dust, dirty spoons in drawers, ...) when we arrived in the morning, so we had to call someone ('cause never anyone at the reception desk) to please send cleaning crew. When we got back in the evening it was cleaner, but still not very clean.

Un incontournable pour nous sur Chaudfontaine

Ce n'est pas la 1ère fois que nous logeons à l'Urban Lodge. Jusque là, nous avions eu la chance de toujours avoir le même logement (qui nous plait énormément) mais qui était occupé pour nos dates. Bonne chose cela nous a fait découvrir un autre logement, un peu plus petit mais qui est parfait pour nous 2. Le confort de la literie ++, l'espace du logement (que ça soit coin salon, cuisine ou encore salle de bain), l'accueil super sympathique et disponible , vaisselle en suffisance, propreté, vue sur l'esplanade, parking privé, ... Nous y retournerons très certainement
