Gorgeous views over the old town, and far enough removed that it still feels peaceful despite how many tourists there are in the city. Branko and his neighbours were extremely welcoming and it was the perfect stay for my first time in Croatia.

Amazing host, Branko, was so helpful and considerate. We had a beautiful, clean room and bathroom, and it was fantastic to have a terrace and kitchen, which was shared with one other room. The views are amazing. Be aware there are quite a few stairs, but that is Dubrovnik in general. We would come back here in an instant.

Excellent location .. nice view of Dubrovnik from our room and the deck. Easy access to town but there is a lot of stairs and it is Dubrovnik so no way around that . The host just a lovely man and so helpful

Everything was perfect. The room, the bed, the private shower, the shared kitchen all very good. Comfortable and clean! The view is just amazing!!! You look out over Dubrovnik Old Town. There is a balcony and a garden with different places to sit. So you can enjoy the sun or the shadow whatever you prefer. I read the reviews about walking up the stairs to reach Rooms Vjera, but it turned out it was just a 5 minute walk from the Old Town. Staying in Dubrovnik you won't be able to avoid stairs. Furthermore the host is so helpfull and kind. Providing all the information you need. As I thought this place couldnt be any better, the host offered me free drinks and fresh strawberries. If you feel like it you can just sit down with him and enjoy his company and stories.

Branko was a great host. He invited me for drinks and chocolate. He also provided useful information on local shops, what to do, how to get to bus terminal etc. He made me feel like staying in my own home. There was a spacious and well-equipped kitchen for guests to cook if they wish.There was also a lovely terrace overlooking the old town for drinks or meals. The view of the old town from my room was spectacular.

The location was uphill with many steps to take. But that is why it offered a spectacular view of the old town. I was fine with that.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Branko’s place. We were greeted with a beer in his lovely garden that has unobstructed views over the old town and Dubrovnik walls. The beds are comfortable, it has block out blinds, robes, slippers. The shared kitchen is fully stocked and you can sit inside or outside on the terrace, both with views. Everywhere is very clean and comfortable. But Branko himself is the highlight - brought us strawberries picked fresh from his garden, little chocolates and was a wealth of information about the town/transport.

Location was great other than the fact that there are a lot of stairs up to the guesthouse! The room was quite comfortable and the bathroom was clean with a really nice shower. Our host was so kind and friendly and made us feel so welcome the entire stay! Loved having a shared kitchen and the patio to eat outside, plus you can't beat the views!

The only thing I could mention is how many stairs there were, but it wasn't an issue for my brother and I. Just keep it in mind when you're packing!

The location was wonderful. We had a fantastic view; I do not think that we could have chosen better lodgings in all of Dubrovnik.

i liked everything about the property. only one tip bring money to pay, because he doesn’t accept cards.

Branko and his wife were so friendly and welcoming throughout the stay. The location is easy to find and just a few steps away from the old town. You can find your nearest shop, bakery and restaurants just few hundred meters away. It also very convenient with the airport shuttle bust stop being about 5 mins walk from your stay. Taxi from Dubrovnik airport is about 30 euros while the bus was 6 euros. It is also fairly quick, just under 30 minutes. Again, I was very happy with my stay and the hosts made it that much better. Regular people who are willing to help and to welcome you everyday with a welcoming smile…or even a glass of vino! If you get a chance to book your stay it’s a definite must!

Great sized room with stunning views of the old town. Very close walking distance to old town. Host was very nice. Excellent patio and kitchen available. AC was great!

The access is technically via stairs so while this wasn’t a problem for me, I would keep this in mind if bringing heavy luggage or if you have mobility issues. This isn’t property specific since the entire city has lots of stairs.

Branko was a wonderful and welcoming host. The room has everything you need and an amazing view over Dubrovnik.

Just make sure you're ok with stairs, as there are quite a lot of stairs to reach the property.

About the host, he is the best host I have ever met! We arrived very late at around 1am at night as we took the night flight and it is delayed. We missed the last bus going back to the property, so we have to take a Uber. The host waited us for so long and welcomed us. He knew that we haven't ate anything, so he made us a meal with fish, tomatoes, ham, cheese, bread and orange juice. These really save us out of hunger. After the meal, he also chatted with us and gave us a very detailed travel recommendation in Dubrovnik. After that, he also helped us to take the luggage upstairs. On our day of departure, he even drove us to the bus station. We really really like the host so much! About the private room, it is spacious with a bunk double bed, sofa, good air-conditioner, mirror and even with some biscuit and chocolate that we ate all as they are so yummy. It is also well-decorated which makes you feel cozy, relaxed and comfortable after a whole day of travel. And you can also wake up to see a beautiful view of the old town through the window. We sleep so well in the room. I can say it was the best rest I ever had during the trip to Croatia. About the private toilet, it is outside the room, but you will have your own private toilet without sharing it with other as you get the key to open it. It is very clean and tidy with hairdryer and some cotton pads. The host will change the towels for us everyday and they are smell really good and tidy! About the kitchen, it is also very neat, tidy and clean. Every bowls and plates are put very tidily. And we can enjoy our cup of tea in the balcony using the teabags provided for free. About the balcony, it is the best part of the property, you can sit in the balcony enjoying the view of the old town and sea. We spent many time there to eat our breakfast and take our graduation photos as well. It is super super enjoyable! I really love this place and you definitely should not miss it!

Rooms Vjera is located on a wonderful spot, just 300m outside the old city. The location is close by all the main attractions, but still ensures quietness and a good night sleep. The views from the rooms are amazing and the garden is big present. The owners, Branko and Nike, will make you feel at home and provide you with a warm welcome.

Our host was very welcoming and helpful so we felt just like at home ! We had a nice room with beautiful view on the city and a large separate bathroom across the hall. You also get a shared separate kitchen. The house is only a few minutes walk from the old town, which was very convenient. Thank you for everything !

Only two minor disadvantages : -You need to be fit to access the house which is on top of a steep hill, but obviously, this is why you get such a nice view and you get to be in quiet area. -Our host did not set up the air conditioning (only warm air) so the room was not extremely fresh. But we didn't feel hot at all at night so it was ok.

Branko was a fabulous host who was exceptionally kind and hospitable, making us both feel extremely welcome. At the start of the holiday, I had a problem with my eye and he did his upmost to help me, giving me a lift to the optician and pharmacist. I was really grateful for his help with this as it made my holiday a lot easier once it had been fixed and it would have been hard arranging this by myself. The apartment itself is in a fantastic location close to the old city but just outside the walls where it is more quiet and peaceful. It has amazing views across the Adriatic coast and overlooking the city walls. We loved sitting on the terrace and admiring the beautiful scenery, this really made the holiday feel extra special. The rooms were a good size and came equipped with everything you need. They were also regularly cleaned to a high standard, so it was very comfortable. I will definitely be returning when I visit Dubrovnik again!

The accomodation is close to everything (beach, old Town) while being calm. It has a wonderful view on the old Town and sea. The rooms are clean and have a/c. The kitchen is fully equipped. The host (Branko) is very helpful and friendly. He also offered me a drink when I arrived and drove me to the ferry when I leaved.

Branko was extremely friendly and helpful, the location is great, the view from the terrace impressive and the room spacious. We were very happy. Also, Branko helped us with parking.

Perfect stay,perfect host,super clean,super location and an amazing view of Dubrovnik old town from the rooms and the balcony!I absolutely loved it!!Everything was around and very close(bus stop to the port and the airport,super market,bakery etc) and just two streets above the old town! Highly recommend it!

Very kind host, that helps wherever he can. He gives you tips for the city and looks for busconections if needed. The bath and rooms were exceptional tidy and clean. I will come back if I am in Dubrovnik again.

Branco was an amazing host, he always made us feel welcome by, for example, offering us a drink or starting a conversation. The rooms were very clean and had a good air conditioning. The view from the room is awesome as you look over whole Dubrovnik. Would 100% recommend!

Just like many apartments in Dubrovnik, you have to climb some stairs to get there. However, the apartment was located really close to the old town, so it was worth it. Plus, the apartment’s view is amazing.

The host is the sweetest, he helped us with our bags on the stairs (quite a lot of stairs) and he welcomed us with fresh watermelon and a cold beer. During our stay we had a beer with him and he can tell nice things about the area. The room is clean, clean towels everyday, bathroom is nice with a clean shower, aircon works perfectly, kitchen is well equiped… it’s really just the perfect place to stay when in Dubrovnik. Only thing is the earlier mentioned stairs to get to the hotel but it was doable! Especially because there were cold drinks and watermelon upstairs.

Host of the place is outstanding. He is very nice and provides all the services that you need for your trip. He picked us up at the airport and dropped us off at the bus station. Everything went very smooth. He provided us a welcome drink and some fruit while showing us the map of the city of main attractions. The view from our room is superb,over looking the old town of Dubrovnik. The terrace is great to chill out and also great views. Can’t be more happy staying in this such wonderful place and loved the friendly host🙏.

This is not a dislike more of a word of caution. For people that can’t walk stairs up or down, this is not a place for you. As if you want a good view, you can avoid stairs. But for people who don’t mind of stairs, consider a daily workout 🤣.

A beautiful location above Dubrovnik with an excellent view. The owner Branko welcomed us to his home with a beer and lively conservation. The apartment was clean and comfortable with a lovely garden and terrace we could enjoy. It was quiet at night and a short walk down to the walled city. We enjoyed our stay and would book again if given the chance. Thank you Branco.

Everything. Branko is a wonderful host and greeted us warmly upon arrival. The room was very spacious and the bed was king size and quite comfortable. The room had a fantastic view, of the city.
