Location, views ,facilities,lift,safety,residents friendly. Beautiful apartment with amazing location to train station and York centre. We loved watching the geese and boats everyday.
No shower sadly for my elderly mum and bath to deep for her.
Noise levels of drunks at night but hard to do anything about that, but I had to use the sofa bed this time as my elderly mum needs a bed, the sofa bed was horrendous the metal bars when you lay just dig right in and painful. I had to spend 4 nights cramped up on the sofa as I just couldn’t sleep on the sofa bed. I’m not massively heavy my sister stayed November and said it was not a nice sleep on it. The mattress has no life in it. I love the apartment for location and lift but mum couldn’t get into the bath as so deep. I think next time I will have to look for something that has better comfort for more than a couple. Which is a shame.

The location is perfect, close to everything and walking distance from the station. Shopping, eating and tourist attractions all close and so much choice.
The apartment is perfectly equipped and the little extras like tea, coffee, salt pepper etc were much appreciated.
Nothing - we even liked the noisy geese and watching the rowers every morning

Great location for exploring York and beyond. Convenient to shops and the rail station. A very nice apartment with views of the river. Thanks for the welcome pack - greatly appreciated after a long journey to York. A well stocked cupboard of dishes etc. and cutlery.

The location was handy to shops and most places of interest. View of river was very pleasant. Plenty of almost instant hot water.
Cooking facilities and materials disappointingly minimal - not even salt & pepper, cling film or aluminium foil. Solid electric hob plates very dated and efficient. TV reception intermittent. Small double bed uncomfortable. Building lift out of action on arrival and for most of our stay including on departure. It was fixed briefly but broke down again necessitating manhandling of 23 kg suitcase up and down 2 levels
