Really great, warm and comfortable, lovely location

Lovely barn conversion, lots of space for 6 of us, nice pub one minute away, convenient for all the places we wanted to visit in the area. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome basket.

mattresses could have been more comfortable. carpets and sofa covers quite worn. would have been nice to have some coat hooks downstairs as nowhere to put coats. hooks for stuff in bedrooms would have helped as well.

Very enjoyable, comfortable stay in a beautiful setting with lovely walks.

Ideal location for our needs .Almost next door to lovely Pub with excellent food and hosts ,we ended up eating there everyday!! The barn was nice and spacious and the upstairs layout gave us privacy with a bathroom and bedroom per family .Lovely soft white, fluffy towels!!!

. Would really benefit from a downstairs cloakroom for the less mobile or elderly.

Spacious, well-equipped, comfortable property, ideal for a family break. Good location for exploring the southern half of the Dales at least (the roads north of Grassington are quite narrow and slow-going, so allow time if you are exploring that way). Internet and mobile phone connectivity were good if that matters to you.

No serious concerns or complaints at all. The property is located about 100m down a very narrow lane off the man B6265 through Cracoe. It is easily missed when you first arrive, although the owner's instructions were accurate. Take care as you enter the lane as it is not much wider than a car and there are hard walls both sides! There is ample parking space outside the property though, at least for one car.

Lovely barn conversion very nice quiet location

The property is in a lovely quiet location but close enough to local attractions. All within a short drive it’s a nice cost set out with all that you need for a relaxing nice stay if the pubs your thing it literally next door. Seating area inside is comfy and a well designed kitchen. The bedroom layout is a little bit different having to walk through the single bed room to get to the en suite bedroom. All in all we would return and fully enjoyed our New Year’s Eve.

The only comment I would say is that all the pans are not induction cooker pans so if you’ve never used an induction hob you’d think it was faulty.

Wonderful stay

Lovely, homely and spacious barn in a beautiful location. We had a wonderful Christmas there. It was well-equipped for all the cooking and plenty of seating for us all. The welcome basket was a lovely touch.

Well equipped and the log fire was amazing. The welcome hamper was a fantastic touch and well appreciated, thank you. Will book again if you’ll have us !!

A really clean and well presented home. Lovely touches, like the milk and welcome hamper, were really appreciated.

The directions on the site were wrong so we were driving around d for a bit. The cracoe cafe is now a b and b!

Overall good but a little frustrating in some aspects.

Like quite a few properties the house and equipment needed looking at more regularly and with an eye to what it's like to use/ stay. Opening velux windows was a problem and we could only get one ring on the induction hob to come on . The instructions did not seem to be available, other than installation instructions. There was no real garden or space to sit out, and this should be made clearer in the information. Finding the property was also not easy and we had to ask at the farm shop up the road. It was however very spacious inside and with a bit more attention to details could be easily made nicer to stay at.

Great place in the Dales

The barn provided us with all the space we needed. It is well equipped allowing us to enjoy meals together and relax in comfy sofas. The area is beautiful with lots of options for different types of activities.

The narrow lanes around the barn might be a challenge for some drivers but shouldn't put you off. Great to wonder along!

Perfect property for 7 friends to get together at a reasonable price. Comfortable and spacious property. Well equipped kitchen with plumbed American fridge freezer.

Showers weren’t great, either scorching or freezing. Lack of water pressure to sink in en-suite bathroom. Difficult to find the property as it is down a very narrow path and directions are outdated. Beware if you have a wide car! Parking for 2 cars only, we had 4 but pub next door allowed us to use their car park.

Cosy cottage in idyllic location

Very spacious property, there is plenty of room for everyone to also have a quiet moment. Good sized bedrooms, big kitchen with all of the necessary equipment. We arrived with three cars, but were able to agree with the neighbours to park out third car at a space nearby. Good location to start your explorations, the pub is just around the corner. The host even prepared a Welcome Hamper for us, which was much appreciated.

The weather was unusually cold for the time of the year and we found that heating the living area was challenging.

A lovely well equipped spacious barn in a fabulous location with some beautiful scenery. Great walks and places to visit in the local area including Grassington and Skipton. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and the open fire was cosy after a long day of walking.

The barn was clean, with a very well equipped kitchen. Plenty of towels and bedding, the rooms are a good size to sleep the 6 of us.

Limited of parking for a third car, with narrow access roads. Water pressure in both showers were low. We struggled to operate the oven fully.

Location is great walking distance to pub and 5 minute drive to riverside or 10 minute drive to Skipton. The welcome hamper was also a lovely touch.

We didn’t have enough time at the property in the first night as you can’t check in until 5pm.

Just fab!

I stayed here with some friends in March- age range 25-55 & it was perfect! I just booked it recently for my parents & their aunt & uncle- age range 69-84 & again everything about the barn was perfect! The lady who owns the barn is so lovely when you communicate with her too! I wouldn’t hesitate to book again, It’s spacious, clean, perfectly located & has everything that you need xx
