- Location was good if you needed to be central to the town centre - 2 minute walk.
- There was a kitchen and dining table if needed, lounge, bathroom and bedroom & it was relatively roomy for a flat.
- Good and quick response from flat owner.
- Plenty of supermarkets within a 15 minute walk from flat.
- The bed was very uncomfortable and also felt like we were going to roll off each side, so had to sleep as close to the middle as possible. My partners legs were really aching after each nights sleep, but he didn't realise it was the bed until we got home & he slept in his own bed for the night, feeling totally fine the next morning. Though he was really uncomfortable each night & slept poorly. My legs also ached but not as bad as his.
- Adding to the uncomfortableness we felt, there were also thickish cobwebs wrapped around the bed legs and underneath & there were duvets stuffed under the bed touching the slats, which didn't allow for a good night's sleep, particularly on the first night. I always check under the bed. Owner mostly sorted for us the next day, however, but it appears I got a spider bite on shoulder. There were some cobwebs in other areas of the flat too.
- No blind up in the bathroom, so I felt really uneasy getting a shower when it was dark outside and light was on inside. The shower faced the window and even if patterned glass, from the outside, a naked person is obvious.
- The alley to the cottage was dark at night & a phone light was needed to put the code in the gate.
- The entrance to cottage was so narrow you couldn't actually swing a cat, though no fault of the owner.
- We really missed an outside space, but again, no fault of the owners.
