The location was very good. 15 min walk from the station. Easy access to the canal and a nice view of the hills from the room. The kitchen was adequately equipped, and the bed was comfortable. It was so quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again. Highly recommended !!
I think there is hardly anything that I can think of apart from the checkin and checkout times. Check-in at 3PM is fine, but if the check-out time can be extended by an hour, it would have been helpful. Saying that I can understand that the management needs to prepare the house for the next booking and that takes time. In short, in my brief stay, I can hardly pinpoint any dislikes.

Excellent location, access to nice towpath walks with the dog. Nice and warm heating system.
Bed too soft for us. 50% of kitchen cupboards taken up with owners personal effects. Cooker/oven ignition system not working. Hands and knees to light the oven(i'm 66!)

We liked the cottage our only issue was the steps up to the canal path which are narrow and steep. Our old dog had no chance of using them.
