Clean spacious and centrally located.

Very clean and spacious, and centrally located with a short walk to the High Street. Check in was a breeze with easy to follow instructions.

A place worth returning to.

The kitchen is bright & airy with enough dishes, pans & cutlery for all. The table & chairs in the yard are a great place for breakfast. This house is very close to the town centre. The neighbourhood is clean and well maintained.

The location was really good and everything accessible

place very cosy and really close to the centre. Could not fault the location.

we do our own cooking and found the utensils really basic. ie it took me an age to cut a slice of cheese as the knives kept bending as really cheap.

Highly recommended, comfortable, clean house that felt like home, close to the town centre.

We loved our stay at Rowland House. I loved the fact that it felt like a proper home instead of just holiday accommodation. A very clean house with everything we needed and the little extra touches of food and drink was very much appreciated. A quiet, homely and comfortable place to return to every night after a day out that was also close to the town centre.

A characterful house and town, and a very enjoyable stay. The January weather was our let down!

Very convenient to get in to Skipton on foot in less than 5 minutes. Lots of local amenities nearby.

The house is on a very steep hill, and the stairs in the property make you lean backwards. This was not a problem at all for us, but needs to be considered if you are less mobile.

Too Soft mattress and irregular bed base slats on double bed meant we had to use twin beds. Very steep steps would rule out property for anyone with mobility issues

Location, 5 minute walk to town. Free parking outside property. Spacious property and enclosed rear yard ideal for our dog.

Could have had a patio table and chairs for the yard as it's a lovely suntrap.

Never Again!

Extremely basic, cold, no smart tv, lots of dog hair, brown bath, no working fire, noise from neighbours, felt really uncomfortable to the point we ended our stay early. Messaged the owner with no response, no reply very poor.

Avoid rowland house

Very dated, poor towels etc dirty carpets and dirty floors in bathroom kitchen. Could do with blinds on windows and a deep clean. Plus fire was only for show! Could have put some fairly lights in there and put a small Christmas tree up. Love Skipton but doubt if I will stay at Rowland house again without it being updated.

Disappointing

The location perfect. Although no good if your disabled . Nice little touch of putting milk and some biscuits in the property

The stairs so steep and im disabled . Dirty cups . Dirty oven . Plates that still had food residue on them . Bedroom .bed far too low and soft . Some kind of throw on the floor with dog hair on it . The bathroom ,dirty mirror . Bath where you shower hadnt been cleaned . Residue from the last person in their . Shower screen dirty . Really dirty in windowsills ,skirtings all around house .
