Faded glory but still worth the trip

The area was very pretty though we got a heavy impression of faded glory from the town. It still kept his charms though and we visited a lot of amazing places all around that were driving distance, mostly castles which were pretty well maintained. In the evening we had a very nice walk following the river and there were no loud noices to disturb the tranquility of the place.

We found 5 spiders in the room; 2 above the bed in the hollowed out part of the ceiling where the lights were, 1 in the drapes, 1 on the inside of the windowsill in the main bedroom and another in the 2nd bedroom's windownsill. To be fair, we didn't alert the staff as we had the impression they were already somewhat understaffed, it was summer and a window was open that was surrounded by grapevines when we came in, so they might have been recent additions to the room.

The meal that we were offered was not up to expectation and the inclusive price of €30 was poor as we could have used the a la carte for less.

Superb

Our conversation at reception when we arrived was difficult because the man could not speak English. However our room was incredibly spacious, in fact we thought that some of the space could have been given to the bathroom which was a bit snug. We had a big balcony all to ourselves which looked out onto the Moselle. We booked half board, and our meal turned out to be a 4 course meal which was very tasty. Breakfast was very good and the location on the Moselle is wonderful.

Mosel walley romantic

Amazing place in the heart of Mosel walley! We were looking for an autumn romantic and we found it here! Hotel is located in the calm village, surrounded by vineyards. We had a room with a river view and it was perfect. Room design is outdated, but we were prepared for this 😁 Overall it was clean, warm, cosy and we slept very good. Breakfast was fresh and normal: eggs, cheese, very tasty fresh bread, juice and tea. Nice place ❤️

The location of the hotel was very good. breakfast was simple but good

photos on bookings.com do not match the reality of the room you get The room was very outdated, not clean. Also the bathroom wasn't clean. No one at the reception even if you rang the bell.

Adequate - the bread at breakfast was absolutely the best thing about our stay

One of us is seriously allergic to gluten. We had informed the hotel in advance. They replied to say that this would be accomodated but this did not happen at all. We had specified a room with balcony - not provided No information in room about fire regulations. Unwelcoming service at reception Bathroom recently refurbished but only one cup which had some water already in when we arrived Toilet seat dangerously loose although brand new No TV reception Service in restaurant was useless

Pleasant hotel in excellent location by the Mosel

Breakfast was perfectly adequate. The hotel is situated next to the river and is within a small attractive village. It's very convenient for cyclists as there is a lock-up garage for storage overnight. The hotel has a restaurant and we had a good meal there in the evening. The room was decorated, fitted and prepared to a high standard. Strangely, there were no curtains but that did not affect t me.

The Breakfast was excellent and complete, the Room and bed were very comfortable, the Bathroom was very modern and clean, the Hotel staff were very nice and friendly, the Food in the Restaurants was excellent and the Preis very Right, it was a dream trip for me . I can only recommend :)
