Nice hotel, accommodating staff, but the town and lake were disappointing and quiet.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had a nice breakfast, and they had a lovely bar area for cocktails. Their restaurant terrace overlooking the lake was very nice. The room was also very nice.

The lake was extremely low, and nothing seemed to be going on around the lake. The town was also very quiet with little activity. It's not the fault of the hotel though, the hotel was very nice. Nearby Lake Titisee was much busier with shops and restaurants open, kids in the water, boats for rent, etc.

The ventilation fan from the kitchen was just outside our window, room 29, and rather noisy. We could not leave the window open in the evening.

Great staff and great service. The restaurant was pretty good. Breakfast was great.

The room was a one family suite and it was NOT worth the price per night. Not even a refrigerator in the room. Oh and like a 13 inch TV

Staff pleasant. Breakfast really limited but ok. Area is nice.

Room using IKEA stuff, Bed not really confortable and cheap.(foam mattress), you can hear a lot of noise from other rooms. Really too expensive for what they offer. (250 euros a night for 2 kids and parents). They are a level below. We had to wait 10/15 min when we arrived before someone came to us (there was nobody...) . Probably the first time I experience it for my last 25 years!

Sehr schönes Hotel .

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Hotel Schiff. Das Hotel ist ein sehr charmantes Hotel mit typisch gemütlichem Schwarzwald-Flair – nicht modern, sondern stilvoll traditionell und einfach richtig schön. Die Lage ist perfekt, mitten im Ort mit Parkplatz direkt vor dem Haus. Wir hatten sogar das Glück, ein Zimmer-Upgrade zu bekommen. Unser Zimmer war sehr großzügig geschnitten, mit einem zusätzlichen kleinen Nebenzimmer zum entspannten Fernsehen und sogar zwei Badezimmern – wirklich toll! Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert. Dort gibt es authentische, sehr leckere Küche, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte. Der Wellnessbereich war leider wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen, dafür haben wir jedoch einen Rabatt auf das Zimmer erhalten, was wir sehr fair fanden. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Personal: unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

Gutes Preis- / Leistungsverhältnis. Relativ kleines Zimmer, aber mit allem, was man braucht.

Putzpersonal versuchte bereits um 10.30 Uhr ins Zimmer zu kommen (ich hatte abgeschlossen). Check Out ist aber erst um 11.00 Uhr.

Ligging/locatie, uitstekend restaurant, goed ontbijt, gezellige sfeer.

Kamers en sanitair zijn ernstig aan renovatie toe. Overigens was het matras niet slecht en het water uit de oude douche wel warm.

Für eine Nacht völlig in Ordnung, gerne wieder.

Lage war sehr gut, 5min Fußweg zum See. Direkt gegenüber gab es einen Supermarkt, eine Sparkasse und eine Bäckerei. Personal war ebenfalls sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Parkmöglichkeiten direkt vor der Tür vorhanden.

Das Frühstück leider sehr mager. Ist in Ordnung, mehr aber auch nicht. Es fehlte an frischen Eiern und Geflügelaufschnitt. An Käse gab es nur Gouda in Scheiben. Frisches Obst nur in Form von Obstsalat in einer großen Schüssel.

Tolle Lage super Aussicht, mehr auch nicht

Die Lage ist toll. Grosszügiges Zimmer Sauna und Wärmekabine super. Pool eher klein. Eigentlich ein tolles Hotel welches inzwischen in die Jahre gekommen ist. Der Versuch das Hotel auf neu und modern zu trimmen ist nicht ganz geglückt.

Leider war unser Zimmerfenster genau oberhalb des küchenabzuges. Hat nicht ganz immer so toll gerochen. Für unseren Geschmack eher viel zu weiche Betten. sehr kleines Badezimmer wo Mann fast Platzangst bekommt

Das Hotel war schön urchig was uns total gefällt. Die dekoration war auch passend.

Leider ist das Service Personal wohl Saisonmüde und das lieblich wie auch das urchige welches die Ausstattung des Hotels aus machen spiegeln sie nicht wieder.

Die gute Erreichbarkeit, die Lage (Nähe zum See) und Preis-Leistung. Die Bade-Landschaft im Hotel ist zwar schon etwas älter aber trotzdem sehr schön. Das Essen war hervorragend!

Sehr tolles Hotel und das Personal auch Top.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut gelegen, die Sauberkeit ist auch sehr löblich. Es gibt einige Dinge die man dort unternehmen kann, wie den Rothauszug zur Rathaus Brauerei oder eine angenehme Schifffahrt auf dem Schluchsee, ganz zu schweigen von Wanderungen, welche man dort natürlich auch machen kann.

Das Zimmer, welches die Aussicht auf einem anderen Haus im Fokus hatte, war etwas unglücklich. Um den Schluchsee vom Zimmer sehen zu können, musste man sich aus dem Fenster lehnen. Was leider auch etwas schade war, war die Tatsache, dass das Hotel seine Zimmer nicht einzeln auf Booking visualisiert hat, sondern grob für alle Zimmer des selben Names, ein Einheitliches Foto genommen hat (die Ausstattung war auch teils eine andere, mal mit Schrank mal ohne). Dazu ist leider noch zu sagen, dass Diese Bilder nicht aktuell waren.

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour.

Extrême propreté, chambre spacieuse, qualité du petit déjeuner, qualité des repas pris au restaurant (qualité gustative, produits sains, quantité plus que suffisante), vue sur le lac, personnel aimable et efficace. Les possibilités qu'offrait l'endroit : lac avec baignade, randonnée, vélo, déplacements gratuits en train ou bus dans la Haute Forêt Noire.

Un point gênant : notre chambre était juste au-dessus de l'aération de la cuisine, ce qui impliquait des odeurs quasi-permanentes, parfois plutôt désagréables dès qu'on ouvrait les fenêtres, ce qui en été était indispensable.
