A great place to go for couples and families for a short break or longer break

Great hotel fitting to the style of the Black Forest. Superb facilities covering wellness, sport hall and a large kids recreation hall

The only hotel I have seen in my life that does not provide drinking water, on the other hand, an amount of 3 euros per day was added for one bottle of water . Room cleaning was not good , even the tissu didn't replace when it was finished until i asked. There is no refrigerator or coffee machine.

Faboulous hotel in Schwarzwald/Schluchsee, warmly recommended!

Absolutely everything! From location/environment and fabulous breakfast, to the most pleasant interior filled with lovely details and most professional hotel staff - it is all just perfect. Plus it’s pet friendly :) Plus cozy spa/wellness and indoor/outdoor pool The best hotel we’ve been to.

Superb

The resort exceeded our expectations. The sports facilities are great: very nice pool, wellness area, gym and tennis courts. Our son took tennis classes. The tennis instructors were highly qualified and also very motivated :-) Also great food and accomodative, friendly staff at the reception and in the restaurants.

The sleeping couch in our studio appartment (for the third person) wasn't ideal. Perhaps we should have upgraded to a larger appartment.

Clean, comfortable, room are well equipped. Wellness is nice and gives you a perfect opportunity to relax.

Restaurant personnel (senior personnel) was quite arrogant. The restaurant has a back entrance where there was no instruction given how we need to use the restaurant with regards to Corona rules. There was no sign at all. We entered the restaurant and we were sent out arrogantly as we should have waited at the main entrance. Instructions were not clear and we felt embarrassed due to this arrogant and humiliating management.

Black forest getaway

Location and views are superb, the hotel in general is well kept and service is friendly and kind. Parking is just outside the hotel entrance and is safe and enough places. Wellness area is amazing! Great pools outside and inside, saunas, relaxation zone, massages and a good kids pool. Plus a sunbathing area outside and lovely terrace cafe with excellent cakes and food.

Our room was a letdown, didn't meet our expectations, doesn't look like on booking.com pictures. If I knew it I would probably go for a better room category. We came to celebrate our son's birthday, we do it every year in a new location, and all previous hotels had more to offer to a family with small kids: a small toy, magazine or bathing accessories would wait in the room for a small guest and would make s stay unforgettable, once it was even a balloon for birthday boy. Here nothing, not even some congratulation words upon arrival or any suggestions on what hotel offers for small guests. I wouldn't call this place family and kids oriented, there are some good things ( play room, kids pool), but staff doesn't seem to notice families with children and their needs. With Covid19, breakfast waiting time is up to 10-15 min, just to order egg dish, then more waiting for bread and something from buffet which they put together for you. Selection is limited and just 1 person from the kitchen for cooking, serving, that's not enough.

Hotel exceptionnel avec des aménagements tout neufs pour les enfants. Piscine, méga-plaine de jeux intérieure neuve, terrains de Padel intérieurs tout neufs, matériel de cross-fit à disposition, piscine avec wellness, terrains de squash, .. Plusieurs restaurants super agréables Nourriture impeccable: desserts raffinés.. Personnel serviable

Das Badezimmer war sehr veraltet und die Duschbrause rutschte immer runter, so dass das Duschen keinen Spass machte. Hier wäre mal eine Investition notwendig.

Passt, gerne wieder.

Sehr sauber, grosszügige Zimmer, diverse Saunalandschaften, nicht überfüllt; Kräutersauna ist toll. Auch die Halpension hat gepasst! Vielfältiges Salat- und Frühstückbuffet.

Eigentlich hat alles gefallen. Ausser… Zwei Zeitslots 18:00 oder 20:15 Uhr für das Abendessen, an einem Montagabend anfangs Dezember, fand ich etwas schwierig. Der zweite Slot ist etwas spät für einen Fünfgänger, der Erste def. zu früh für ein Anreisetag.

In diesem Haus merkt man, dass ein sehr gutes Management dahintersteht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das Personal: egal in welchem Bereich, die Mitarbeiter sind aufmerksam, verlässlich und gehen auf den Gast ein. Wünsche werden ernst genommen und sauber umgesetzt. Sauberkeit und Pflegezustand sind in allen Bereichen auf höchstem Niveau. Hier ist man als Gast sehr gut aufgehoben und fühlt sich als willkommener Gast. Der Spa -und Wellness-Bereich verdient besondere Erwähnung – ein Programm, das zum Highlight jedes Aufenthalts werden lässt.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Gym Bereich ist einfach toll!

Das Frühstück war hervorragend ! Es hatte einfach alles, was das Herz begehrte. War schön präsentiert und die Ware wurde stets sofort wieder bereitgestellt, wenn etwas "zuende" ging. Hier komme ich immer wieder seeehr gerne her.

Im Restaurant Kachelofen war hingegen das Buffet mit dem Hauptgang nur lauwarm, geschmacklich nicht gerade der Hit und das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmte nicht. Es war für das, was man ass, zu teuer. Im Restaurant Lucia am folgenden Abend war das Essen besser. Ich würde es nicht unbedingt als hervorragendes Essen bezeichnen oder jemandem empfehlen. Aber der Preis stimmte.
