A Truly Relaxing, Cozy Experience
Our stay was incredible. The atmosphere was calming and truly cocoon-like — the perfect place to unwind and disconnect. Everything felt thoughtful, cozy, and relaxing. Honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Highly recommended !

Beautiful old hotel with lovely facilities Staff at reception were friendly
Was phone approximately a week before arriving to see if we wanted to eat in the hotel the night we stayed, my husband said yes as we had done that quite a few times on this holiday as we were travelling every day on a motorbike ( all our hotels were 4* plus ) When we sat down for the meal I opened the sealed menu and realise the meal was €198 per person not including drinks This hotel was only £165 for 2 B&B so certainly did not reflect the prices for their evening meals When we explained to the owner that we were on a months holiday and didn’t expect this price for an evening meal we were able to cancel I actually just wanted to leave the hotel at this stage as it certainly destroyed our stay My advice to the hotel , if you are phoning guests to see if they want the evening meal, you really need to make it clear the price I checked their reviews afterwards and see this is a common theme

From A to Z , everything in the hotel area was obviously very well thought and designed. All the rooms, common areas , garden is perfect. All the staff were super kind and helpful. From the moment you are welcomed and leave the hotel, you feel taken care of. The restaurant is the cherry on top.

Absolutely stunning lobby and lounge, extremely polite and friendly stuff, very nice welcome drinks. Credits to the owner who hired very fresh, young, motivated team. Rooms are perfectly clean, wellness is paradise.

Exceptional boutique hotel - it's in the details
Super friendly staff and warm welcome with glass of secco. Nice spacious rooms and excellent bed. We enjoyed our stay a lot and would definetly like to come back to enjoy the gourment restaurant as well. The sauna and jacuzzi were also great after a rainy day in the black forest. Very convenient that they reserve the wellness facilities for you only at the time you'd like to use them. .... and it's all in the details. Small morning letter with activity recommendations for the day, a story about the Schluchsee at your room with a sweet treat, the secco when checking-in. You have it all! Not to forget the great breakfast.
