Amazing stay at Le Rayon Vert 😃

The hotel is right in front of the beach with amazing views of the ocean and the cliff. The staff was very professional and attentive to our special requests. Our room was spacious and beautiful. Just a beautiful hotel, we would definitely go back ♥️

Charming hotel with superb location and friendly staff

Perfect water-front location. Charming. Respective of local history and the environment. Super friendly and English-speaking staff. Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. The staff upgraded me to an ocean-facing room. :)

It was perfect in every way!

Our room had the balcony and the view of the ocean and it was GORGEOUS. We loved the activity of the people on the beach below us for it was SO FRENCH to us.

We don't think anything could have been better. We had such a wonderful time and fell in love both with the hotel and with Etretat in general that we actually had previously planned to stay just one day and we ended up staying TWO! Thank you!

Exceptional

Balcony and sea view, plenty of space and quiet location. Perfect for view of Bastille fireworks as we hoped. Excellent breakfast and wonderful restaurant in sheltered area on promenade. Nice jazz band too. Staff only speak french

Locating good, building is old

Location was great, it's right at the seaside. In the morning you can immediately smell the sea breeze after opening the window.

Finding parking was hell. If you do find parking, it's exponentially more expensive the longer you pay. Rooms were dusty, had lots of flying insects. The hallway had a very nasty stench. I believe it's the carpet or just the old building.

the location, room and bed comfort, the view, balcony, sound of the ocean, warm bathroom, public parking a few meters away.

we got the first floor so it was just over the restaurant, so you see the ocean but it is distorted by the terraces in front of the window. the price was a bit higher than fair and the breakfast was lower than average, but you do mot have much choice as not many bakeries or breakfast options around.

really great value in a quirky hotel. don’t be put off by the outside. inside was lush.

our room was fabulous and the jacuzzi bath in the room was an unexpected surprise. restaurant next door and breakfast was great

Fantastic location and wonderful view of the beach and cliffs from our room. Very nice bed and delicious breakfast with freshly soft boiled eggs.

The room was too hot and it didn't seem possible to turn the heating off. The kettle lead was very short so we had to put it on the floor to plug it in. Also the spa bath we had in our room didn't seem to work and there were no clear instructions.

The location is super, we had a little room but with the sea view and it was very nice to fall asleep with the sound of the sea and the cries of seagulls.

cozy overnight stay

The location is great, on the beach. the parking is just next to the Hotel and it’s free during the night. the guy on reception was very sweet and kind, he was really trying to speak English and it was really sweet! Room was very small but cozy and warm. the toilet is extremely small but nice. the hotel restaurant however is very dated and cold. Breakfast is average and too pricey for what you get and we were a little disappointed with the lady at the reception (and breakfast) in the morning. but overall a nice stay in a beautiful town and breathtaking scenery.
