Fab flat!

Fabulous flat... On entering, we found it to be beautifully decorated, very spacious and clean. Lovely large, fully equipped kitchen with seating for four, in addition to two sofas and dining table in the very comfortable lounge. There are also two large double bedrooms ( one with ensuite shower and toilet). The room we used had extremely comfy mattress. Arran view is situated on busy main road with good connections in both directions to Ayr, Prestwick and beyond. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again in future! Thanks to the owners and staff who keep this apartment clean and well maintained.

The only downside is the steep staircase up from the downstairs entrance. Perhaps not suitable for elderly or infirm.

Lovely flat

Property was tastefully decorated and close to Prestwick Main Street. Host was very helpful and allowed us access early as it was Hogmanay.

When we arrived on Hogmanay the flat was freezing with no heating on. We managed to put it on but it took a while to heat up. Once heated it was cosy. Just disappointing to arrive in minus temperatures to a freezing flat. That would put us off staying again in the winter. A shame as something that could easily be sorted.

Arran view Prestwick

Arran view was a fantastic stay , perfectly situated for visiting family in Irvine and Kilmarnock and great for trips around the area and beyond. It is a beautiful place with everything you need,and very spacious. 5*. Very comfortable beds and great bathrooms. Hopefully we'll be back next year.

Arran View is a lovely 2 bed apartment and we enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of room for four people - it's a big property. The beds were nice and comfy and it was nice and warm for such a large property. Central location and nice views.

Some elements of decorative upgrade are required.

We liked how big and comfy the rooms were also how clean the house was

There was just a couple of things in the kitchen one of the doors on the cupboard was loose. Also the bathroom down the stairs the toilet moves. And the tap in the en-suite bathroom is broken and leaking a bit

Excellent comfortable accommodation close to town, beach, golf course and Prestwick airport

Excellent top floor flat on the main Ayr rd. Very comfortable and warm. Two large bedrooms, 1 en-suite also large toilet down stairs with bath and shower. Large kitchen and living room with table and chairs at the bay window where you can see over to Troon. Local shops, restaurants, bars and beach close by and 2 min walk from Sainsburys.

So much for comfortable than a hotel

This was our second stay and it was as good as the first. So spacious, pretty much everything you need. I find the place really comfortable and would go back for a third time.

The front bedroom is noisy from the street. Just people walking past later, and average traffic in the morning. If you’re a light sleeper, use the garden facing room. It’s well kept for an old property but could do with a spring clean in those tricky areas like the shower and skirtings.

Home from home, had everything you could possibly need. One of the largest and most comfortable beds I’ve slept in. Had really good communication with the host. Very short walk to supermarkets. Walkable distance to town centre (or short ride in taxi or car) where there is a large range of bars and restaurants.

Everything about the inside of the flat was lovely. The rooms felt huge thanks to the high ceilings.The tv and sky package was a lifesaver when the grandkids came to visit.

If I was to be really, really picky, it would be to say that the traffic noise was quite loud, but that was only because we had to have the windows open due to it being really warm.

It was so lovely to arrive for new year and see the Christmas decorations up making the lounge so cozy and festive. Such a nice touch ! Great beds ... so comfy. Well equipped kitchen.

Our only criticism was that there was no information booklet..... but there was details of internet and contact details. But some local information would be good if your guests are not from the area.

Nothing to dislike as nothings could be better as Arran View is an all round excellent flat with an exceptional host who goes out of her way to make sure you are comfortable and the flat is kept to an exceptional high standard plus what you get is great comfort and the highest standard of cleanliness and the flat is well equipped with everything for a guaranteed comfortable stay. The best. We have stayed many time as wouldn’t get these standards anywhere else. Also there is a driveway for your car. Perfect!!!

Superb

Very spacious with two large comfortable double beds as described. Lots of storage and wardrobe hanging with no shortage of hangers. Large kitchen had an excellent range of equipment and table with chairs. Location was great with Sainsburys and Aldi a short walk away.

Only slight disadvantage was the traffic noise from the road but it wasn't noticeable in the bedrooms.
