overall lovely hotel in great location

the hotel is beautiful and in a lovely location with a nice walk along the beach to Honfleur. Paying for the pool is a little disappointing, it’s only very small so we didn’t feel the need to use it. We only had breakfast there once, choice was small but still nice. The main issue we had was 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed, we were kept awake by a crying baby in the adjacent room. I’m sure when I booked it was stated it was adult only. I would make a return visit, and hope for quieter neighbours!

absolutely everything was over priced €400 and the didn’t even have a mini bar. then there are so many charges in top of this. the pool was €25 for 1 hour. there was a lot of work going on around the property and paths were slippery. good and drink was elaborate but extremely expensive. €5 for 1 coke. the menu was only in French and no members of staff couldn’t translate. so I ended up paying for a lot of food I really didn’t like. the room was so basic and had no bathtub. no English Channels on the tv, not even the news was not told anything about lunch and only had 5 minute to chose and eat

The bed sheet in linen was just great. Surroundings are very nice and it has all to be a peaceful place. Charming place between Honfleur and Danville. Astonishing view of the Seine getting to the sea

So many details are not at the level you would expect for the price and and the rating of the place. First the cats ... if you read advices you sill see that they are the real master of the breakfast area. In the room we noticed on arrival an electrical problem in the bathroom but nothing was repaired during our stay despite electrical cable was just out in the bathroom. It lacks of maintenance in many details (The chairs have disappeared from the pool) Forget about the foto. And in the staf (global nice) there are one or two which might change of job and understand what is expected from a place which pretend luxury ...

Great Stay, away from busy Honfleur, but close enough to enjoy the city.

Location next to the river. Quietness of the surrounding. Tasteful decoration / cosynes. Beautiful garden. Close to city center. Friendly staff.

Have to reserve the swimming pool, that.’s difficult to plan we you are on holiday. Missed cheese or beacon for breakfast.

Un séjour dans un cadre calme et inhabituel à refaire sans hésiter.

Chambre spacieuse avec vue sur la baie de Seine. Salle de bain très bien équipée. Possibilité de profiter de la piscine. Dîner gourmand au restaurant du domaine. De jolies chaumières au milieu d'un parc arboré avec accès à une plage. Un séjour tranquille et dépaysant.

La fermeture du restaurant à notre arrivée le lundi soir.

calme relatif . Beaucoup de bruit de la chambre au dessus

J'ai payé 437€ la chambre plus 40€ de PD . 1° La chambre : 2 oreillers avachis , couette idem . pour suspendre ses vêtements : une tringle dans un renfoncement avec seulement 3 cintres et un escabeau pour les atteindre . pas de coffre . 2° Dans la salle d'eau : lavabo quasiment sans lumière. Pas de miroir grossissant . Pour tous produits d'accueil il n'y avait qu'un mini savon et un seul gel douche dans la douche ! Pas de kleenex , pas de set de beauté , et dans le wc une grande pancarte "ne rien jeter" mais aucun sachet hygiénique ! Petit déjeuner digne d'un formule 1 : un seul jus d'orange en carton et tout le reste à l'avenant . Le bouquet : une affiche : " si vous voulez avoir votre PD en chambre , dormez dans la cuisine cette nuit " Humour au troisième degré ou foutage de gueule ? j'opte pour la deuxième solution . Le tout ,pas digne d'un 4 étoiles ni du prix payé . Je me suis fait avoir !

Parfait pour les couples !

La Chaumière est un complexe qui date du 17ième siècle et c'est une affaire familiale, ce qui change tout. J'y suis allée avec mon chien Coco, et j'ai eu l'agréable surprise de trouver des gamelles et un lit pour chien dans la chambre. Tout est fait avec un goût exquis.

J'étais assez déçue par le restaurant Le Chaumière, carte banale, pas de poisson local, prix élévés, service qui pouvait être amélioré.

Pour un long week-end ressourçant

Les infrastructures communes et les services sont de haute qualité : multiples terrasses avec vues sur mer, aménagées avec goût, piscine privée, bar façon taverne, un cours de tennis sur gazon, restaurant gastronomique et bon petit déjeuner à base de produits locaux et « faits maison ». Le personnel est à l’écoute et anticipe les besoins de ses clients.

Le petit-déjeuner pourrait été amélioré : mettre plus de choix et des jus de fruits.

Le lavabo de salle de bain et le manque d’un petit support pour les serviettes de douche. Le système électrique qui nous obligeait à tout couper la nuit pour éteindre la lumière de salle de bain , coupant également l’alimentation du petit ventilateur alors qu’il faisait très chaud .

Der Gebäudekomplex liegt in einem großen Park direkt am Seineufer. Allerdings befindet sich direkt gegenüber der Industriehafen von Le Havre und Frankeichs größte Ölraffinerie, was einem bei der Buchung natürlich niemand sagt. Nachts wird da Gas abgefackelt, was ziemlich laut sein kann.

Das Zimmer war klein, feucht und roch muffig. Kein richtiger Schrank, keine Minibar. Direkt vor dem Zimmer befand sich ein großes, unsauberes, veralgtes Wasserbecken. Eine Brutstätte für Mücken, wir wurden nachts regelrecht zerstochen. Das Personal war, wenn überhaupt greifbar, nicht besonders kooperativ. Der Gipfel ist, dass es einen kleinen Indoor-Pool gibt, der aber nur dann nutzbar ist, wenn man ihn für eine Stunde für 25 Euro reserviert. Sowas haben wir noch nie erlebt. dementsprechend wird der Poll gar nicht genutzt. Auch beim Frühstück kostet alles extra, nur der Filterkaffee aus einer großen Camping-Warmhaltekanne ist inklusive. Die Dame, die das Frühstück betreut, ist freundlich, spricht aber einen ausgeprägten Dialekt, so dass man sie kaum versteht, auch wenn man französisch spricht.

En résumé, le lieu est splendide et l’accueil de qualité, mais le rapport qualité-prix de la chambre nous semble déséqui

Nous avons séjourné une nuit à l’Hôtel de la Chaumière. Le cadre est magnifique, avec une vue imprenable et un accès direct à la mer, ce qui rend l’endroit vraiment exceptionnel. Le personnel, tant à l’hôtel qu’au restaurant, a été très accueillant et professionnel.

En revanche, nous avons été déçus par la chambre au Manoir de la Plage. Pour un tarif de 350€ la nuit, nous nous attendions à un niveau de confort plus élevé, avec au minimum une machine à café ou une bouilloire. Il est également regrettable que le petit déjeuner ne soit pas inclus à ce prix, et facturé 20€ par personne via une réservation sur Booking.

Schlussendlich wunderschöne Tag an einer traumhaften, ruhigen Lage verbracht.

Zimmer eher klein, jedoch alles vorhanden. Frühstück zusätzlich 20 Euro pro Person/Tag (für den Zimmerpreis könnte das Frühstück inbegriffen sein). Das Hotel liegt in einer wunderschönen Parkanlage direkt am Meer. Der Strand fast leer und das Meer war toll zum Schwimmen. Sehr Hunde freundlich.

Das für die Poolbenutzung zusätzlich 25 Euro pro Stunde pro Zimmer bezahlt werden sollte. Ich habe dieses Hotel ausgesucht, weil es einen Pool hat, damit ich meine Schwimmtrainings abhalten konnte. Ich war jedoch nicht gewillt zusätzlich für die Poolbenutzung zu bezahlen.
