Nice but not exceptional for the price.

Last stop on our road trip and beautiful but expensive place to spend it. Easy walk into centre harbour with bars and restaurants. People were so helpful and friendly. Car parking was fine and able to charge car although twice the price per kWh of all other hotels on trip. Room was very comfortable with steam shower although had to be careful didn’t burn the back of legs when sitting down.

Over priced including food and bar. Had very good meal in town for less than half what it would have cost in hotel.

Beautiful property, but uncomfortable Room

Room on the third floor with no elevator. The position of the bed has a not so comfortable access. Difficult to stand up in any of the sides. The heating and the lighting of the room are poor. The bathroom does not offer a separate shower and not even a way to hold the shower head for a proper shower .

The entire property radiates charm and tranquility. Both inside and out, the setting is elegant yet inviting—an ideal blend of historic character and refined comfort. The staff were genuinely welcoming, gracious, and delightfully good-humored, which made our stay feel personal and memorable. Our room was beautifully designed—rustic and modern in equal measure—with thoughtful details that gave it a unique sense of place. The steam shower was nothing short of amazing, a perfect way to unwind after exploring Honfleur.

We dined in the bistro and were surprised that the meal didn’t quite live up to the otherwise exceptional quality of the property—or to its Michelin recognition. While service was kind and attentive, the flavors and presentation lacked the refinement we expected from such an esteemed establishment.

Great location

The staff were all friendly professional and helpful. The food in the restaurant was very good and the bistro was also good. The view from the restaurant was lovely. We didnt have breakfast. The location is good and it is easy to walk into the centre of Honfleur from the hotel.

A number of things were disappointing about this hotel. There was EV charging onsite which is a bonus but was significantly more expensive than public chargers in addition to an already hefty nightly car parking charge. This was very different to the other 13 hotels we have used during this trip. The decor of the room is deliberately rustic, however this meant the stone and wood floors were cold and no slippers were provided. In addition the lighting in the room was very dim so we couldn't see into drawers or in the corner of the room where our luggage was. There was a terraced seating area outside the room which was nice however there was no demarcation of terrace space so that other guests could walk round the terrace and look into other rooms which the guests next door to us did. We had room service on our second evening and when we left on day 4 the tray had still not been removed despite Housekeeping having been in the room twice.

Despite the extortionate price of the one night stay, there was no milk for tea or coffee in the room, a limited range of teabags and very little coffee for two people. Luckily I had brought my own tea bags, coffee and milk, the latter of which I was able to keep in the mini bar fridge. Had I stayed in a cheap b&b, this would have been perfectly acceptable, but not a hotel charging €500 a night. I was astounded by the cost of breakfast- which wasn’t included in the price. I also wonder how the charge of €30 to park a car within the grounds could be justified.

Location, relaxing atmosphere, ambience, great food and staff at the restaurant gastronomic, beautiful gardens, nice buildings

No air-conditioning, no pool, cafetiere not working, no shower, bath water mixer not functioning, slow service outside. But we would certainly go back after the renovation.

Location is fine; a bit out of town, but an easy 10-15 minute walk Breakfast was fine; a good selection and a nice dining room Pleasant ambience and friendly staff

No pool facilities (closed for refurbishment) and no prior warning. No dinner availability on site and no prior warning. One restaurant fully booked and the other restaurant closed for refurbishment. We were given no option, but to walk into town. As far as we can tell, we've paid full price but not had some of the (advertised) facilities that we were expecting from this hotel.

We did not partake of breakfast, but had a long lie in which was a luxury for us. So comfortable.

The hotel is stunningly beautiful, very peaceful with fabulous views across the water. the grounds are fabulous. A luxury stay.

We have no complaints. The Spa was closed due to refurbishment which a a pity, however we were not aware or disturbed by any works going on.

Visit Honfleur? Stay at Saint Simeon.

Beautiful and relaxing hotel on walking distance from the centre of Honfluer. On top of a (steep) hill, that takes you out of the crowd in the city with a grande view over the river Seine. Nice spacious and clean rooms. Attentive and friendly staff. To bad that we couldn't make reservations to the restaurants (fully booked) as both the menu and the plates looked very promising.

Servicelevel was tad lower then expected mostly due to understaffing. Probable cause the aftermath of CV-19.
