Great location and very welcoming

Good breakfast selection - standard continental choices. Coffee machine was excellent. A kettle in the room would have been nice.

If your destination is Honfleur - this is a very nice place to stay - definitely recommended

This was a surprise for us. It is a very nice family business hotel, with the history and its charm. Our experience was like a trip to the the past into the history. Restaurant is very good. outside area in the event after a hot day was very pleasant, under the bid trees and the view to two lovely horses not far away. inside dinner was also wonderful. We even took all our diners during entire stay in Honfleur . Dinner offer is rather limited, but very nice. Do not miss local specialties. Checkin and checkout were fine with no any issues... but be warned, staff speaks only French there, very few can speak english. One nice young lady was trying hard to speak english, but ... we had to figure all out how different things names in French. We were happy that we took this hotel. It is a bit outside of Honfleur, meaning quite nights with no traffic, no noise. We could open the window and sleep with fresh see site air in the room. Spacious and free parking area, what is a luxury in Honfleur and entire coast area. Honfleur is in walking distance, and the walk is nice, going via very nice area passing one very authentic church, and nice see view from the high hill.

It is not a complain, and was not a problem for us, just to keep in mind. If you want to go to the city Honfleur, it is easy reachable by feet, still, you need to keep in mind that it has one part of the walk which is relatively steep. Again - this is not a disadvantage, just to know and be prepared for. Repeating: this was not an issue for us at all.

Nice and peaceful hotel

The location was perfect, set in a quiet and green setting. Very relaxing with horses grazing next door and really quiet at night while still just 20min walk to Honfleur old harbour. The rooms were also very clean.

The Wi-Fi did not really work and our rooms were in the loft with pretty low ceilings.

We had a very pleasant stay and appreciated the calm and tranquil environment.

We chose this hotel for two specific reasons. First, because it was pet-friendly and second, because it had a restaurant. The restaurant for the evening meal is separate to the breakfast room and was very nicely decorated and the food was really delicious. There was plenty of choice on both the food and beverages menus and the set menus were very reasonably priced.

Nothing fancy

My partner and I recently stayed at a small hotel just outside Honfleur, Normandy. Our experience was a mix of positives and some notable drawbacks.The hotel boasts a lovely garden where guests can unwind. It provided a peaceful and relaxing environment. The continental breakfast served each morning was delightful. The selection included fresh pastries, fruit, cheese and coffee, which was a great way to start our day. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Free parking on site.

Our room was very small, which made it feel quite cramped. The bed was also small and the mattress was uncomfortable, leading to a few restless nights. The walls were very thin, and we could hear conversations and noises from the adjacent rooms and hallway. This was a significant downside, as it disturbed our sleep. The hotel is quite far from the city center, which means you need a car to reach the property and to get around. While the rural setting is peaceful, the distance from Honfleur can be inconvenient if you want to explore the town frequently.

Great location and overall, a good stay for us. We would stay here again.

Location was good. We were able to walk into Honfleur in 15minutes. More strenuous on the way back. Staff were very good and very happy to help when we had a problem with our car. Food was good and pretty good value.

The bedroom was clean. Lots of mosquitoes and no facility in very hot weather to have a window open - only door on to fire escape, which had no mosquito nets. Shower had to be hand held as fixture loose.

Tranquil setting

We stayed for 2 nights in August - such a peaceful setting away from the busy centre of Honfleur (which is at a walkable distance). Parking at the hotel was plentiful and secure. The room was a good size and very clean. We had breakfast there which was good and we ate at the restaurant one evening - great food and popular so booking a table is recommended.

Nice place outside the busy Honfleur centre

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, a short drive from the busy city center in a quiet and pleasant farm. The staff was kind, the room was clean and matched the pictures we saw on the website.

The stairs leading to the room on the second floor of the building were uncomfortable. The ceiling in the bathroom is low due to the sloped tile roof structure. We had a problem with the WIFI connection in the room.

the ambiance and the setting was fabulous with the added advantage of being able to relax in their grounds

I really wanted to enjoy their selection of fine foods in the restaurant. My wife is a vegetarian and having enquired twice the best that they could offer, reluctantly was a plate of mixed vegetables which we had to refuse and go elsewhere, very upset. I know it’s France but it’s so easy to offer something more substantial even a pasta or veggie burger would have enticed us to stay and I could have then enjoyed their meat and fish dishes.

Refined and unpretentious gem!

A quiet laid back hotel. Very refined in a unique kind of way. The building has a long history dating back to the early 1800's. It's a little bit out from Honfleur nestled in a wooded area. Very quiet with a variety of wildlife, flowers and informally tended gardens. The food was first class and was available either inside, or in our case outside in the gardens, on a glorious sunny evening. Ideal for a quiet restful get away from it all stay.

Had a 5 star dinner at the Hotels restaurant. The owners husband and wife do everything for their guest. Best place to stay in Honfleur.
