Logis Hôtel Restaurant La Berteliere

The property is easy to find from The motorway, larger in dimensions then other Logis we have stayed in the bedroom was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable.

It was unfortunate but when we went for early breakfast there had been a leak in the breakfast room, and the lighting was out. In addition two hornets were flying around. The 2 staff did what they could to help but it was problematic.I felt sorry for them.

Room facilities good. Restaurant very good with authentic French menu. Truly dog friendly.

Rooms need refurbishment.

The location was lovely, quiet, with plenty of secure parking, the room was spacious and the breakfast superb. The dining room was attractive, the food good and service in the hotel excellent throughout.

The bathroom was a little tired and the position of the bath, with shower above, and glass screen across the top end must have made it difficult to clean well. The bedroom had lovely big windows and a large comfortable bed but the pillows were too full and firm.

The restaurant was very good, the size of the room was adequate.

The room was not very clean, particularly the carpet and the broken floor tiles. Service in the restaurant was very formal. Never managed to get anywhere near the bar or use the bar area as it was full of people attending meetings and events - mainly large groups of loud Rotary Club members. On two nights we had to park at the far end of the car park as the parking area was full of coaches for these visitors. We did not expect it to be as loud and busy as this.
