Best campanile in northern france

All staff were extremely helpful and friendly Sofi (manager) and mellinda top line ! Would recommend one of the best campanile,s for this part of france.

An excellent location with lovely staff but the rooms are letting things down.

The location is excellent, very quiet and so well situated to hop on to the Autoroute. The food was cooked well and presented beautifully. The room and en-suite were very clean. Staff are welcoming, polite and helpful.

The bedroom and en-suite are so tired. The bed wasn’t super comfortable and the en-suite is basic. Also disappointed not to have a starters buffet - one of Campanile’s USPs. Staying in a recently refurbished room at the Alençon Campanile a few days earlier was so different. Little touches make a big difference - king-size bed, more comfortable mattress, wall-mounted, large flat screen tv, extra towels, upgraded toiletries etc

I felt welcomed

I like the layout and concept and that there is an integral restaurant. Staff were excellent and - as it was obviously a travelling work persons stop over - there were regulars as well as strangers and the atmosphere was good and friendly.

This Campanile needed an update to the rooms which were tired and dated.

Short stay in Rouen

Verry quite and nice....loved!!!! It's ok for people who are driving because you can park there for free but is not the best place for who's not driving quite far to walk to the town centre 😉

I liked everything breakfast....not too expensiveI think was 13 euros not verry sure to be honest😁 but I rememberwas a resonable price, room and staff was lovely and helpful, the receptionist Audrey she was verry nice to me and she gave a lot useful information about Rouen. Thank you a lot!!!

Only stayed one night while travelling had everything we needed

As a one night stopover it’s just adequate.

Breakfast and dinner were satisfactory. The room was comfortable and quiet.

We were given the samne room as for our previous visit earlier in the year so it was disappointing to find the light switch in the bathroom remained temperamental. Lack of maintenance is a feature of this property. Still no USB sockets in the room which is inconvenient .

Nothing at all

Room overly basic and the reception lady was so lazy she just could not be bothered . Even when we said we wanted to eat she recommended another restaurant so she wouldn’t have to do any work . Her attitude was awful. Thank god it was only one night last minute booking as I would never return again , infact would rather sleep in the car . Air conditioning was not working either.

Good location for an over night We didnt use the breakfast room. the Bar was very good.

The hotel was being renovated. Our room was ready. However, our toilet wouldnt flush and there was an electrical box on the ceiling next to the window that turned on every 30 minutes and woke us up. We have stayed here on numerous ocations. Once the renovations are finished we would stay here again.

Fantastic Friendly staff. Really nice food in a very pleasant but simple restaurant. Nice size room, everything you need for a quick stopover. Easy to park and close to main route into Rouen.

Return visit post Covid.....

Staff, location.

We have used this hotel many times over the years before Covid. Unfortunately, since Covid, they have had to change the way they operate. We used to look forward to an excellent meal in their restaurant, after a long drive, but unfortunately the restaurant does not exist in the old format. We were offered snacks (soup, pizza, etc). Although very good, we found it to be very expensive. Also, breakfast was very expensive for what was available. This is such a shame because the managers try so very hard.

very convenient from motorway. the restaurant was good as was the breakfast. the reception was excellent and friendly we travel with a dog who was made very welcome.

Totally inadequate pillows. Half a pillow provided per person. Two is the normal provision.
