The perfect Venice stay: peaceful, close to the action, and hosted with care.

Arianna is a fabulous hostess. From the time of booking through checkout, she provided us with all the information that we would need for our stay. Since this was my first time in Venice, I really appreciated her having someone (Simone) meet us at our stop and escort us to the house. The apartment far exceeded our expectations and has everything someone would need for an enjoyable stay in Venice. I recommend staying here for anyone looking for accommodations that are close to the popular sites and public transportation, but far enough away to have peace and quiet.

Nice stay in Marty's guest house.

Location was good. Ariana came to meet us. Nice lady. She made sure to give us a tour of the house pointing to all sort of little things that we definitely appreciated. For instance, the kitchen came with some basic condiments. Even though one seldom takes a nice trip to use the kitchen daily to cook meals everyday, preferring to eat in restaurants most of the time, one does once in while like to prepare a quick meal or salad and relax in the apartment. We therefore appreciated to find few things just for those occasions: small bottles of olive oil and balsamic vinegar, coffee, sugar and spices, among other things. There was also a bottle of wine waiting for us. We've been to many places and we didn't quite see something similar. Ariana mentions that she like people to take good care of her house. And that's perhaps her way to make sure that happens! Thanks again Ariana.

Nothing really comes to mind. Perhaps the narrow stairway requires being extra careful if you're quite young anymore. But we knew about it so can't count as negative.

Beautiful apartment in a glorious location

The location is superb and in a very quiet neighbourhood. The design of the apartment is wonderful and full of the essentials for a comfortable stay. Although we did not use the cooking facilities or the washing machine, they are all there and there is a SPA supermarket close by for the necessities of life (wine and cheeses)

I am a big guy and the spiral staircase was a bit tight but not something that can be changed

Ariana, the host, was waiting for us when we git of thw water taxi. She showed us the way to the apartment and showed us how everything works. There was a small mixup in the number of guests as we booked for 3, and booking.com told her 2. But it was not a problem as she made up the other bed and apologized. The apartment was spacious and clean, and it has all the amenities one needed. It was in a great location within walking g distance of all the sights. Couldn't have had a better stay. The welcome snacks and wine were an added touch. Highly recommend this apartment.

A splendid location and a very comfortable apartment

I booked Marty Guest House as a honeymoon surprise for our son and daughter in law. Arianna answered very quickly and made an early arrival possible as a gift for the newly wed couple. The welcome was very kindly. The apartment is large, very clean and with very comfortable beds. The aircondition operates well and the kitchen is very well equipped. The location of Marty Guest House is splendid: located in the middle of vibrant Venice but still very quiet. The communication with Arianna was very good, a very good service and very interesting tourist information available. Our son and daughter in law recommend Marty Guest House to everyone who would like to have a splendid stay at Venice.

We loved all the care the owner showed to make our stay the best ever - the contact email, the welcome treat, the very helpful guide with places to see, Restaurants, etp. The house had a beautiful and original interior and it had everything we needed.

Magique !

Idéalement situé au cœur de San Marco , les principaux sites sont accessibles en 15 min à pied Très jolie maisonnette décorée avec beaucoup de goût et bien équipée. Merci à Martina et Adrianna pour leur accueil chaleureux et leur écoute.

Seul petit bémol (vraiment petit) la cafetière qui peut satisfaire les amateurs d’expresso mais n’est pas adapté pour des buveurs intensifs de café (1 seul mug peut etre fait à la fois.. un challenge tous les matins ) Logement non adapté pour des personnes a mobilité réduite mais cela est évident sur les photos donc aucune surprise de ce côté.

Ausgezeichnete Lage, schnell mit Vaporetto linea 2 vom Bahnhof bis San Samuele erreichbar. Sehr saubere, modern ausgestattete Ferienwohnung auf 2 Etagen mit Wendeltreppe. Sehr ruhige Umgebung. Lebensmittel und kleine Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe.
