The apartment in Calle del Tragheto Vechio is spacious with a living room with 2 sofa beds and a kitchen with a washing machine, a dishwasher, a fridge where we found water and champagne and a generous table for 6 people. From this living room a door opens to a hallway from which you enter a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a bedroom with a bathroom with shower, toilet and bidet. Also from the living room a wooden staircase goes up to a bed next to is a bathtub. Adjustable heat in each room thanks to radiators. Air conditioning in each room. Warm water and soft, clean towels.
I didn't like the fact that I felt like I was on a tresure hunt. If it hadn't been raining and if we hadn't arrived after a 6 hour flight, it might have been fun. First of all, under the same location name, Ca Donde Grand Canale, there are several apartments in different locations and you have to look very carefully at the pictures in the presentation to figure out if it's a suitable location for your group. Also part of the treasure hunt category was the fact that the keys were in a bar instead of in a box on the ground floor of the building where the apartment is located. So you have to find the bar, get the key, pay the city tax in cash, then go and look for the building. And the adventure continued because there are 3 sections of stairs to climb to get to a door, and another door, and then 2 more doors that you have to try to open with the key to see which one opens. The description does not specify the large number of stairs. The apartment is close to the canal, but all you can see from the 2 windows is the roof of other buildings.

The property had very less lighting in living room. Collecting key at different location than where the apartment is located.

The location was amazing so close to the ferry services and other facilities. Very rustic and quiet.
If you have a lot of luggage and cannot manage stairs well this apartment will be a challenge. From street level there are a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment.
The bathroom for the one apartment was very cramped due to the raked ceiling which my wife hit her head on numerous times. Having a timber beam above head in the shower was problematic.
No facility to hang washed clothes like a small clothes stand would be very beneficial.
