Not sure what it was but each person within the party of 6 was bug bitten or possible reaction to detergent used in cleaning bed linens. Rashes occurred

Very spacious and tidy apartment with lovely decor, comfortable beds, lovely spacious living area. Great location, easy stroll to S.Marco square, shops, great restaurants and easy access to water taxi.

Location: very good, 3min walk to Palazzo Grassi and the San Samuele vaporetto Space: very very large apartment with 3BR, 3 baths (only 2 usable).

1) Building entrance in a state of decay and disrepair. Signs of extensive water damage, dust and debris, smell of rotting wood, even a large rat inside the lobby. 2) One of the bathrooms was unusable, with sewer gas and unsanitary sewer flies coming from shower floor drain. Interestingly, at check-in that door was the only room closed (all other room doors open), and there were plug-in air fresheners left on the floor, perhaps by previous guests. There was no response from owner or owner’s agent when alerted to the obvious plumbing problem. All indicating that they are aware of the problem, but ignoring it
