Santo Stefano Palace

The property has a lot of rooms and we could keep each one’s privacy even during the stay! All the rooms are clean and nice.

The water in the bathtub was not hot enough so we gave up using it.

The apartment is large and has an updated kitchen and bathrooms. AC works great!

There are 3 bathrooms, the middle one stank like a sewer and we kept the door closed the whole time. Communication with the host was a bit lacking, the property manager didn’t know the WiFi info, told me to reach out on booking, never got a response. Eventually got the info from the property manager, would have been nice to just had it printed in the apartment. The building is pretty dilapidated, but so is Venice so maybe that just comes with the territory.

Wir waren schon oft in Venedig, dieses Mal mit größerer Familie. Die 3 Schlafzimmer und 3 Bäder waren einfach nur super, jeder hatte seine Privatsphäre, trotz mehrerer Personen. Die Lage ist auch sehr schön und sehr gut in ein paar Minuten von der Vaporetto Haltestelle Akademia entfernt. Somit ist man sehr schnell an den Hotspots, wobei die Nebengassen das Attraktive an Venedig sind. Die Wohnung ist auf jeden Fall ihr Geld wert und wir kommen gerne in größerer Gruppe wieder.

Location: very good, 3min walk to Palazzo Grassi and the San Samuele vaporetto Space: very very large apartment with 3BR, 3 baths (only 2 usable).

1) Building entrance in a state of decay and disrepair. Signs of extensive water damage, dust and debris, smell of rotting wood, even a large rat inside the lobby. 2) One of the bathrooms was unusable, with sewer gas and unsanitary sewer flies coming from shower floor drain. Interestingly, at check-in that door was the only room closed (all other room doors open), and there were plug-in air fresheners left on the floor, perhaps by previous guests. There was no response from owner or owner’s agent when alerted to the obvious plumbing problem. All indicating that they are aware of the problem, but ignoring it
