Pleasant

The price was quite inviting compared to other well-reviewed options for our group. The location is quiet, but central. Getting the keys was easy. There was enough room for 4 people and enough storage options for the luggage.

Communication was not easy. I had a few questions, and they were not answered in advance - only on the day of the check-in (tried multiple ways to reach out). There is air conditioning, though for this accommodation it was not enough, as it is not strong and only one room has access to it. The bathroom does not have a window, thus it is constantly humid and hot in the room. The ceilings are low - we had to bend all the time. The room was ok clean - on the surface, but not everywhere.

A good breakfast and a comfortable bed was had by all!

Aside from having to check in at a separate location, this was a nice, comfortable place to stay. They even have Air Con! The proprietors were helpful and allow us to park and secure our motorcycles on the property. Breakfast was decent with excellent, fresh baked goods available.,

Located near center in quiet zone. Excellent breakfast. Nice terrace at room and enjoyed also the big rooftop terrace op top floor with panoramic vue. Friendly staff.

The coach was very narrow and had a curved, very hard mattress. Very uncomfortable and far below what we expected for the room rate we paid. All the rest was excellent.

I booked Villa Betty 1 day before arrival, the price indicated on booking.com was 105,- Euro (booking picture attached), after confirmation by email it was 169,- Euro, a first suprise which could not be explained at arrival? in the morning breakfast was supposed to start at 07.30h, we came at 7.20h as our bus was leaving shortly after. The lady preparing the breakfast was shouting to us to leave. When I tried to explain in Eng,lish that we just want to take away a sandwhich she just turned away. After I tried in my broken Italian to explain what I want, she just turend away again and stated "colazione al l´otto" ??? So - price higher than indicated - no breakfast in the morning - personal even not willing to make any effort to speak with us even when I tried in Italian

Clean, central, good value for money with an excellent breakfast

Breakfast was very good. The lady who took care of the breakfasts was very friendly and made wonderful cappuccino. On our last morning we had to leave at 7:30 so she prepared breakfast 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. We were very grateful. The room was small but very clean, as was the bathroom and shower.

The hotel was located on a busy street. It was quite noisy early in the morning.

Good time, great staff, reasonable room

Merano is lovely and this was probably a fair place to stay. We stayed underneath the roof, which was quite low and our neighbors were loud, but all in all we had a good stay. The lady in reception and at breakfast was very nice, as was the gardener. Breakfast lovely.

Maybe a bit too expensive for what you get, but it seems the whole city might be on the pricy side.

It was very near to the town centre (6-7 min fast walk). The service was really pleasing, helpful and kind.

It was quite noisy from outside. There was a busy street right behind the windows.We stayed only overnight, but I cannot imagine a longer stay in the same room.

Man fühlt sich sicher, da ein Tor den Zugang zum Haus sichert. Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr gross für so ein kleines Appartmenthaus.

Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen. Parkplätze wären auf der Strasse gewesen, jedoch konnte ich es beim Partner Appartmenthaus Hedy lassen, da war es sicher eingezäunt, hat mich zusätzlich €25 gekostet, was sehr viel ist für eine Nacht.

Changement de lieu à cause d’une route à trafic dense et à cause de volets clos et de porte fermée

En fait, lorsque je suis arrivée devant l’hôtel 2 étoiles, j’ai remarqué qu’il était situé au bord d’une route à grand trafic. Tout était fermé, bouclé. Il fallait aller chercher la clé deux rues plus loin à la rue Leopardi à la Résidence Hedy. Lorsque je suis arrivée chez la dame, je lui ai communiqué ma peur d’être seule dans cet hôtel aux volets clos et je lui ai demandé si je pouvais loger chez elle. Elle avait un appartement libre et j’ai payé le surplus. Elle m’avait tranquillisée en affirmant que d’autres touristes allaient passer la nuit au Garni Betty, notamment des Allemands. Je n’ai pas regretté le changement de lieu plus calme et plus avenant. Je ne peux donc pas évaluer l’hôtel Garni Betty, même si vous écrivez que le petit déjeuner est excellent.

La nostra stanza era un po’ piccola per 4. Il bagno minuscolo e senza bidet. Personale presente un po’ “asciutto” nei modi, ma educato quanto basta. Wi-Fi non funzionava.

Pulizia della stanza scarsa, non hanno mai cambiato le lenzuola in una settimana e non é mai stata fatta una pulizia a fondo della stanza e del bagno (bagno molto piccolo senza il bidet e con la tenda alla doccia) Nelle foto si vedeva un centro benessere ma non l’abbiamo trovato nella struttura e nessuno lo ha menzionato

Zimmer war relativ groß und sauber. Innenstadt zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstücksangebot war in Ordnung.

Ein Fahrradkeller/Schuppen war vorhanden aber alt und unaufgeräumt. Frühstücksraum war zu klein für die Anzahl der möglichen Gäste. Wir mussten 15 min warten. Aufgefüllt wurde leider auch relativ sporadisch. Dennoch war das Personal sehr bemüht.
