not recommended for bike travelers

it was clean

Announcing it is possible to lock in a bike is called false advertising (see questions on FAQ). The "bike stand" is a lose metal rack outside that anyone can walk away with. Wr had to pay a 50 Euro charge because we took one bike upstairs, we would've never booked here had we known this place wasn't bike friendly at all. Not recommended if you are traveling with expensive bikes.

Tired old hotel

The hotel was in a quiet location except for some early morning train noise. Breakfast was fine and breakfast server was polite.

The hotel is run down. The hallway carpets and upholstered furniture are very soiled. The room was cleaned each day, but the shower over tub in bathroom did not have a door or shower curtain in our room or our friends room, so the floor can get quite wet. We used bath towels to wipe up floor. Beware of apparent problem with the owner being able to process the room charge in Euros. Both my friend and I requested our credit cards be charged in Euros and the woman made a mistake both times and charged us is dollars. This resulted in a 3.35 % additional charge on our bill.

Bella esperienza

Posizione eccezionale a due passi dal centro e molto silenziosa. Camera comoda e spaziosa con tutto l'occorrente. Colazione completa dolce e salata con possibilità di chiedere extra dalla cucina. Personale gentile ed accogliente.

L'unica pecca potrebbero essere gli arredi che sono un po' troppo usurati, ma nulla di eccessivo.

Im allgemeinen war es gut

Es hat diverse Probleme Das kalte Wasser kam ganz zaghaft aus dem Wasserhahnen die Badezimmertür hat geklemmt und ein Nachttischmöbel hat schlecht gerochen so musste ich e wegstossen vom Bett das ich schlafen konnte.Das alles waren Probleme welche mann problemlos lösen könnte.

Tolles Ambiente, ruhige Lage am Fluss Passer und die Stadtnähe.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendbrot. Die Lage zum Stadtzentrum ist ideal gewesen. Das Hotel verströmt einen Hauch der Grand Epoche mit dem Inventar und den Räumen mit den Bildern.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln. Wer solch ein Ambiente der alten Zeit liebt, ist hier genau richtig angekommen. Der heutige Komfort kommt nicht zu kurz.

Für eine Nacht für mich allein 185 EUR finde sehr überteuert. Das Hotel ist ganz nett, aber kein Luxus.

Hotel storico, ottima base per soggiorni a Merano

Posizione ottima, accesso diretto dall'Hotel alla passeggiata sul lungo fiume che in pochi minuti porta nell'area pedonale del centro. Camera molto spaziosa, bagno luminoso e finestrato. Ottima colazione con scelta ampia e qualità dei prodotti sia salati che dolci. Disponibilità del parcheggio interno per l'auto (anche se un po' risicato).

Il materasso un po' scomodo forse andrebbe rinnovato. In questo periodo (primavera) come temperatura in camera si stava benissimo, ma in estate l'assenza di aria condizionata mi indurrebbe a scegliere una sistemazione diversa.

Hotel a 3 stelle..mi dispiace dare un giudizio negativo.. ma non se le merita

il confort del letto

Struttura datata, con arredamento obsoleto risalente agli anni 70/80 . Nella bagno della camera piastrelle con crepe, infissi delle porte e finestre verniciate con gocce di colore che scendono. Tutto fa pensare che ha bisogno di un'importante ristrutturazione. Moquette che accompagna le scale e corridoi di chissà quanti anni fa..La moquette è un'ottimo tessuto per raccogliere polvere. Riscaldamento in camera discreto che arriva alla sufficienza e senza la possibilità di regolarlo (manipola del termosifone bloccata). Al mattino per fare la doccia l'acqua dopo 10 minuti esce appena tiepida e color giallino .

Merano bellissima, una vera scoperta.

La struttura è molto caratteristica, molto vicina al centro città, con ottima colazione e stanza abbastanza grande. Mirco è stato super accogliente, sempre pronto a dare informazioni e presente per qualsiasi necessità: super!
