A lovely place overlooking Merano but still very accessible

The view over Merano is breathtaking. We loved sitting on our balcony and taking it in. We loved the walk down and back to Merano, keeps you fit, and that you could access the scenic paths directly from the hotel. It was also great to have parking. The room was lovely and clean and the breakfast was great with lots of home cured meats and cheeses. The staff were very friendly.

They offer a great breakfast with regional products. Rooms are clean and bathrooms freshly renovated. All rooms have a view and balcony/ terrace overseeing Meran. You find a pathway to the city next to the hotel.

avoid the beyond unprofessional host!

nice location

there’s a lot of things we didn’t like 1) we booked the accommodation for 6 nights (two separate bookings) and were asked to switch during our stay from a room which was already quite bad to a room which was even worse. as it was my fiancées birthday trip I asked the lady at reception to give us a better room if we can’t avoid the switch altogether. after a long back and forth she finally seemed to have understood how important this was to us and gave us an alternative room. she made us feel it was our fault and we really weren’t off to a great start. 2) we finally swapped the rooms on my partners birthday and naturally spend all day outside to celebrate. we were told by Thomas, the host, that we should just leave our bags in the room and they will accommodate the room move (which again is a standard procedure) we returned from the birthday late at night, didn’t know what we should do with the keys so Rang the bell at reception and Thomas gave us the new keys. we thought that was it but 3) the next morning the lady at reception was beyond rude. I have never seen such unprofessional behaviour in my life. she wouldn’t even say good morning and blame us for not leaving keys. we tried to explain to her that we would of course have left everything had we known, but Thomas said it was fine. there was no chance talking to her. she was rude, unprofessional, wouldn’t let us speak or listen. she even said it’s always the same with guests if you do them a favor it turns out bad for them. I mean what kind of statement is that from a host. we even explained that it was my fiancés bday she wouldn’t acknowledge or stop her behaviour even though she clearly had upset my partner (on her bday!!). she also threw all the papers towards me.. she would literally not even hand me the things like a normal person anymore. it was very weird. in case you book you will find out yourself.

I stayed for one night at hotel hubertus during cycling tour. View of hotel is amazing. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Room has balcony and enjoying whole city and tirol view is speechless.

If you want to access merano city center by walking, it is exhausting a little.

Good position, very easy to reach the city of Merano. Silent and comfortable room.

If you don't use a car is a bit scary to come back at night because you will have to walk through the woods. The communication with the reception has been quite difficult and no one gave us info or suggestions to what to do or see, which is something that I usually get even without asking. They should find a way to keep your data without having to keep your ID until the end of the vacation.

Posizione vicina al centro (al ritorno il percorso è molto in salita ma almeno ci si muove un po' :)), stanza spaziosa in inverno molto riscaldata, bel design montano a seguito di ristrutturazione recente, ottimo panorama con vista sulla vallata, colazione abbondante, pagamento al check out (non è scontato), personale disponibile per informazioni e proattivo anche nel darci il pass per la mobilità.

Weekend con vista a Merano

L'hotel si trova in una posizione rialzata rispetto al paese di Merano, che permette di godere di una bella visuale e di molta tranquillità. Fondamentale il parcheggio messo a disposizione della struttura, per quanto limitato nei posti auto. Le stanze sono pulite e minimali, così come il piccolo bagno in camera. La colazione si presenta come un ricco buffet con dolci e salati per tutti i gusti. Lo staff è molto gentile e cortese, basti pensare che per via del traffico imprevisto siamo arrivati a mezzanotte e già alle 22 siamo stati contattati dal personale per trovare una soluzione, non essendoci nessuno alla reception dopo quell'ora. Peccato non aver potuto usufruire della piscina e del piccolo giardino, in estate sarebbe stato sicuramente un qualcosa in più!

La posizione, per quanto abbia i suoi pro, è anche un contro, dato che per visitare il paese bisogna prendere la macchina o farsi una delle passeggiate tipiche a scendere e a salire. Anche il parcheggio è un pro, ma i posti limitati e praticamente sempre occupati ci hanno obbligato a parcheggiare nei posti di un locale vicino, fortunatamente chiuso in questo periodo. La stanza è curata ma abbastanza piccola, rendendo scomodo anche solo tenere le valige per terra. Il bagno essenziale e funzionale, dove purtroppo manca il bidet.

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub

Durch die Lage oberhalb von Meran ist die Aussicht phänomenal. Ganz in der Nähe der Tappeiner-Promenade gelegen. Fussweg nach Meran ca. 15 Minuten. Wunderschöner gepflegter Garten. Wir hatten sogar einen eigenen Sitzplatz. Aussergewöhnliches, reichhaltiges und liebevoll präsentiertes Frühstück, das keine Wünsche offen lässt. Man hat die Möglichkeit am Abend einen Aperitif oder einen Snack zu bestellen. Preis-Leistung sehr gut.

Der einzige Kritikpunkt war der angenagelte Türvorleger am Ausgang zur Terrasse.

La vista su Merano era molto bella. La COLAZIONE ottima.

Camera n. 55 spaziosa ma molto POLVEROSA. Molta polvere all'interno delle finestre, proprio da passarci il dito e far restare lo sporco sul dito, la moquette idem. Abbiamo trovato 2 capelli nel lavandino e WC sporco. ASSENZA DI CUSCINI ALL'INTERNO DELL'ARMADIO. Per oltre 160 euro a notte, la struttura non merita. MOLTO DELUSI.

Frühstück war überragend, ich war fast traurig als ich satt war :D Pool im Garten war super, die Bar im EG auch. Preise auch wirklich fair. Zimmer und Betten auch bequem, leise und Modern, schöner Balkon, alles tip top sauber. Und Gastgeber Thomas muss ich trotzdem nochmal hervorheben, so nett und aufmerksam, absolute Oberklasse!

Super Lage und ein Hotel zum Wohlfühlen

Die Lage und die Nähe zu Meran sind unschlagbar. Der Ausblick vom Balkon traumhaft. Thomas ist der perfekte Gastgeber, immer präsent und sehr aufmerksam. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Abends kann man es sich mit einem Drink am Pool gemütlich machen. Die Zimmer sind großzügig gestaltet und modern eingerichtet. Öffentliche Busse sind in Laufnähe.
