A very pleasant stay

The room was big and clean. We had a very big bathroom. The location of the Hostel was amazing. We were in the center, but at the same time not in the touristy area so so it was very peaceful. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this stay

Would totally returning

The location of the hostel is just a few minutes walk from the Madou station and in walking distance from some major tourist attractions like St. Michael & St Gudula Cathedral and Grand Place. My room has a nice view of the square. The bed is comfortable and clean and there's a functional kitchen in the hostel and the breakfast is good.

Good stay

Elevator, Courteous staff, generous breakfast, comfortable bunk with curtain, light and electrical outlet. Ensuite bedroom. Close enough to the central and north stations

The fact that the shower doesn't have a curtain or privacy screen. So when someone is showering the tend to lock out the other 5 occupants who would want to use the toilet or face basin.

honest price for a good stay

I like how the staff were always nice and that the hostel had a luggage room, so I spent the day visiting the city without having several kilos on my back. It helped a lot. I missed breakfast so I cannot say about it, but it was nice that it was included. Also nice that the beds had individual light and spot for charging.

The room smelled kinda bad and the fact that you have a curtain closing your bed makes it really hot and difficult to sleep. Also, the door was creeking and stucking so everyone in the room would wake up whenever the door was opened. Besides these things that bothered me (might not bother you), it was a good stay.

Comfy. Simple. Friendly.

The indoor lobby and the outdoor lobby as awesome as they look in the picture. (I shared a picture in the outdoor lobby. And just right outside the gate from the hostel, so you can see the street.) The beds were really comfortable, i was in room of 10 beds. They are two floors inside the room. Down floor there are chairs and a big table, closet if you wanna hang your cloths and the bathroom. Second floor are the beds. Breakfast was simple but perfect and fresh everyday. But great for the money cost. I walked everywhere from the hostel It’s two stations away by buss to the main train that will drop you from the airport. But I prefer walking. So i walk immediately to the train station 12min walk then straight to the airport from there. Was a great stay. Thank you.

It was a calm and restful stay

It's a super nice place with satisfying equipments and nice ambient. Personal pretty gentle, just the guy from the bar is not too cool, but I saw him just once. The girls staff was nice and gentle. Confortable bed and wide bedrooms. Thanks for your hospitality guys!

The spanish guy from the bar is not too fun The breakfast is not so good. Too simple and not too much variety. Some comertial art that is not too well selected. But is ok

A very good value for your money

- Very good value for money - Bunk beds solid and with comfortable mattress - Breakfast: I was reading the comments and didn't know what to expect, but I can say it is very good: milk, yoghurt, cereals, butter, bread, cheese, ham, choco spread, fruit jam, some fruits, juice, coffee and tee and other... - Location: close to tram and bus stops. And also within walking distance to two metro stations, on different lines. A solid 20-25 min walk to the Grand Place.

Take a padlock with you to lock your bags away if you need baggage storage.

The room was fine. It was clean and roomy. Large shower with good water supply. Overhead shower. It felt safe inside and outside during the day around the hostel. It was a 15-20 minute walk to the Xmas markets and easy enough on public transport from the train station. For the price it was good. If you were travelling on your own, it is mainly in a quiet commercial area. I probably wouldn't want to walk round there on my own at night. I don't know how safe it is but being a quiet area, I would rather not.

Staff were not friendly at all any time we approached reception. It felt like we were intruding. Breakfast was very average. Fine if you are on a real budget but we chose to eat out.

Overpriced Hostel with not so helpful staff

It was average hostel

Staff is hopelessly unhelpful, they did not even provide hot water to drink. You have to pay one euro to get hot water from the espersso machine. No Kitchen, property under renovation after getting in the room again you have to climb to the upper part since the room has high ceiling , even to go to the loo you have to come down a stair.

the worst hotel

it was clean

the staff was very arrogant, had a problem with my transportation and I was late for my check-in. When I arrived, no one wanted to open the door for me. Thank God I found a group of guests who opened the door for me, I went in and nobody was in the lobby and nobody could give me my room so I had to wait in the furniture with a cold from another world. I fell asleep there and at 5 am a cleaning worker woke me up and he gave me the key to my room, I could only sleep a couple of hours and in the morning they didn't want to open the door for me to have breakfast despite what had happened I tried to communicate with the hotel by message but unfortunately the treatment was lousy.

Good facilities great experience.

The facilities were great, we stayed in a 4 bed - Room, the bathroom was the best I've ever got in a hostel. Wi-Fi was really good and the included breakfast is a plus! The area of the hostel looked safe, even at night looked like a nice area of Brussels, and you can walk to the main square in like 20min, any metro station in less than 10min.

The corridors that lead to the rooms definitely need some renovations, however a set of towels would've been I what I need to give it a 10/10 for the price. The location is safe and not bad at all, but for a hostel maybe you would prefer something even more central.
